RICCARTON BOROUGH COUNCIL.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.

In the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, and the Public Works Act, 1908.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Riccarton Borough Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work—namely, the widening of Clarence Street, commonly known as Clarence Road; and for the purpose of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken.

Notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council, situate at Clarence Street, Riccarton, and is open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by or having any well-grounded objections to the execution of such work or the taking of the said land are required to state forthwith in writing such objections, and forward such writing within forty days from the first publication of this notice to the Riccarton Borough Council at its public office situate as aforesaid.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed by the Grey County Council, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, to execute a certain public work—to wit, the construction of a road in Block VIII, Mawheranui Survey District; and for the purpose of such work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto carried on at Mosgiel by ANGUS GLENGARRY and HENRY CONDIE CONNOR, under the firm or style of “Glengarry and Connor,” Plumbers, Drainers, and General Tinsmiths, was dissolved by mutual consent on this 31st August, 1925.

All debts owing to the late firm are to be paid to the said HENRY CONDIE CONNOR, who will continue to carry on the said business in his own name and will pay all the debts and liabilities of the late firm.
