Increasing Number of Members of Te Rapa Drainage Board.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 6th day of August, 1925.

His Excellency The Governor-General in Council.
WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the twenty-ninth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and five, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the fourth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and five, it was declared that the Board of Trustees of the Te Rapa Drainage District should consist of five persons: And whereas it is now deemed expedient to fix the number of persons of which the said Board shall consist at seven: Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred on him by the Land Drainage Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the Board of Trustees of the said district shall consist of seven persons, such increase to commence from the general election of members to be held in November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five.

Revoking Order in Council licensing Messrs. Donald Alexander McLean, Alexander Douglas Jack, Oswald Randolph Haigh, William Henry Beehre, and Hugh Wentworth Crawford to occupy a Portion of the Land between High- and Low-water Marks in the Whangarei Harbour, and to reclaim such Land.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 6th day of August, 1925.

WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the twentieth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 132 of the twenty-third day of the same month, the Whangarei Freezing Company (Limited) was licensed to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and land between high- and low-water marks in Whangarei Harbour, and to reclaim such land: And whereas the said license was with the consent of the Minister of Marine transferred to Donald Alexander McLean, Alexander Douglas Jack, Oswald Randolph Haigh, William Henry Beehre, and Hugh Wentworth Crawford (who, with their executors, administrators, and assigns, are hereinafter referred to as "the licensees"):
And whereas the said licensees have failed to pay the sums specified in clause one of the conditions of the hereinbefore recited Order in Council, and it is desirable to revoke the same: Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in him by the Harbours Act, 1923, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the hereinbefore-recited Order in Council of the twentieth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, as from the thirty-first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-three.

Prohibiting the Use of Danish-seine or Purse-seine Nets for taking Fish within Manukau Harbour.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 6th day of August, 1925.

His Excellency The Governor-General in Council.
WHEREAS it is provided by section five of the Fisheries Act, 1908 (hereinafter called "the said Act") that the Governor-General may from time to time, by Order in Council gazetted, make regulations imposing conditions and restrictions on the taking of fish; and prohibiting any specified mode of taking fish, or the use of any specified engines, tackle, or apparatus for taking the same: And whereas it is considered expedient to prohibit the use of Danish-seine or purse-seine nets for taking fish within the waters hereinafter described: Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the said Act, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby make the following regulations.
REGULATIONS.
- No person shall use a Danish-seine or purse-seine net of any description whatsoever for taking fish within that area of Manukau Harbour inside a straight line drawn from the Signal Staff on the South Head to the southern extreme of Paratutai Island.
- Any person committing a breach of the above regulation is liable to a fine of fifty pounds.

The South-eastern Side of Portion of Evans Street, and the South-western Side of Portion of Black's Road, in the City of Dunedin, exempted from the Provisions of Section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1908.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 6th day of August, 1925.

His Excellency The Governor-General in Council.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Dunedin City Council on the fourth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five, viz.: "That the Council of the City of Dunedin hereby resolves that the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to that portion of the south-eastern side of Evans Street, in the City of Dunedin, where the same abuts on Sections 53, 54, and 55, Block II, Township of Opoho, and also to that portion of the south-western side of Black's Road, in the City of Dunedin, where the same abuts on Section 55 and part Section I, Block II, Township of Opoho; as the said portions of the said Evans Street and Black's Road are more particularly shown by brown colour on the plan hereunto annexed"; such portions of streets being described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
THE south-eastern side of all that portion of street situated in the Otago Land District, City of Dunedin, known as Evans Street, fronting Sections 53, 54, and 55, Block II, Township of Opoho.
Also the south-western side of all that portion of street situated in the said land district and city, known as Black's Road, fronting Section 55 and part Section 1, Block II, Township of Opoho.
As the said portions of streets are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 61021, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured brown.
