Vinegar Hill Hydraulic Sluicing Company (Limited), do
solemnly and sincerely declare that this is a true and com-
plete statement of the affairs of the said company on the
31st December, 1924; and I make this solemn declaration
conscientiously believing the same to be true, and by virtue
of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1908.

GLEN EDEN TOWN BOARD.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodiers' Loans Act, 1913, the
Glen Eden Town Board resolves as follows:--
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of £5,110, authorized to be raised by the
Glen Eden Town Board under the above-mentioned Act, for
the construction or formation of roads and metalling same
and also for the construction of a culvert, the said Glen
Eden Town Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of
l 7/16ths d. in the pound on the unimproved rateable value
of all the rateable property of the whole of the Glen Eden
Town District; and that such special rate shall be an
annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and
be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of March and the 1st
day of September in each and every year during the currency
of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is
fully paid off.

WHAKATANE BOROUGH COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it
in that behalf by the Whakatane Borough Empowering
Act, 1924, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling,
the Whakatane Borough Council hereby resolves as follows :--
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of
interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Whakatane
Borough Capitalized Interest Debentures, 1925, authorized
to be issued by the Whakatane Borough Council under the
above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of securing the sum
of one thousand two hundred pounds (£1,200) of the sum of
one thousand two hundred and ninety-six pounds ten shillings
(£1,296 10s.) owing on the 1st day of June, 1924, as interest
on money lent by the Public Trustee to the Council, the said
Whakatane Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special
rate of one-eighth (¼d.) of a penny in the pound sterling on
the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of
all rateable property in the Borough of Whakatane ; and
that such special rate shall be an annually-recurring rate
during the currency of such debentures, and be payable
yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during
the currency of such debentures, being a period of ten (10)
years, or until the debentures are fully paid off.

RANGITIKEI COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION STRIKING SPECIAL RATE.--OHAUMOKO SPECIAL-
RATING DISTRICT LOAN OF £3,000.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it
in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913,
and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the
Rangitikei County Council hereby resolves as follows:--
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of
interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Rangitikei
County Ohaumoko Special-rating District Loan of £3,000,
1925, authorized to be raised by the Rangitikei County
Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of
forming and culverting the Ohaumoko Road from its junction
with the Mangatipona Road to Survey Traverse Peg No. 91,
being a distance of about 5 miles, the said Rangitikei County
Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of three
farthings (¾d.) in the pound sterling on the rateable value
(on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property
in the Ohaumoko Special-rating District in the County of
Rangitikei, bounded as follows:--
Commencing at a point on the right bank of the Turakina
River at the north-east boundary of Mangatipona East
Block, thence in a north-westerly direction by the said
boundary to the northernmost corner of Subdivision 2A
of the said block; thence in a south-westerly direction
by the north-west boundary of said Subdivision 2A and
by a portion of the north-west boundary of Subdivision 2B
to a point on such last-named boundary whereby a
straight line drawn from such point to the southermost
corner of Subdivision D No. 2 of the Mangatipona West
Block will include an area of 145 acres of Section l of
the Mangatipona East Block; thence in a north-westerly
direction genrally by the north-east boundary of sub-
division C, Mangatipona West Block, to its northern-
most corner; thence by a right line to the south-eastern
corner of Subdivision A, Mangatipona West Block, and
by the eastern boundary of the last-mentioned subdivision
to the Rangitikei County boundary, so as to include an
area of 192 acres of the said Subdivision D No. 2,
Mangatipona West Block; thence generally in a north-
easterly direction by the Rangitikei County boundary to
its intersection with the northern boundary of Lot 1
(D.P. 3465), Ohaumoko Block; thence by the northern,
eastern, and southern boundaries of the said Lot 1 to a
point opposite the western boundary of Lot 4 (D.P. 528),
Ohaumoko Block; thence across road and along the
said west boundary in a southerly direction to the
Turakina River; thence generally in a south-westerly
direction by the right bank of the said river to the
point of commencement;--
And that such special rate shall be an annually-recurring rate
during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the
first day of May in each and every year during the currency
of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half (36½)
years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
