A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by subsection nine of section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the date hereof the land comprised in the pieces of closed road described in the First Schedule hereto, being land that intersects the endowment for secondary education described in the Second Schedule hereto, shall be deemed to be added to the said endowment.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
ALL those areas in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 4 acres 2 roods 38·2 perches, more or less, being the pieces of road closed by Proclamation dated the 2nd day of December, 1924, and published in the Gazette of the 4th day of December, 1924, and being the parcels of land more particularly described as follows :—
Firstly, 3 acres 1 rood 39·2 perches more or less. Bounded—commencing at Peg V on the north-eastern boundary of Section 7 E.R., Block XII, Maungatautari Survey District, distant 639·6 links from the intersection of that boundary with the north-western side of the main Arapuni–Putaruru Road—towards the north-east by part of the Waipa Block 51·1 links; towards the south-east generally by right lines, 182·4 links and 3279·9 links; towards the south-west by a public road, 121·2 links; towards the north-west generally by right lines, 3336·5 links and 191·6 links; and again towards the north-east by part of the Waipa Block, 51·1 links, to the point of commencement. Be all the aforesaid linkages a little more or less.
Secondly, 1 acre 0 roods 39 perches, more or less. Bounded—commencing at a point on the north-west side of the main Arapuni–Putaruru Road distant 1257·6 links from the intersection of that road with the southern boundary of Section 7 E.R., Block XII, Maungatautari Survey District—towards the north-west generally by right lines 988·9 links and 498·8 links; towards the north-east by a public road, 101·8 links; towards the south-east by right lines 460·8 links and 539·5 links, and by a public road 442 links, to the point of commencement. Be all the aforesaid linkages a little more or less.
As the same are delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/1231, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2116, and thereon coloured green. (Auckland plan No. 23006.)
SECOND SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 230 acres 3 roods 37·6 perches, more or less, being Section 7, Block XII, Maungatautari Survey District (permanently reserved as an endowment for secondary education by Proclamation dated 17th December, 1885, and published in Gazette of the 23rd December, 1885).

Borstal Institution, Waikeria.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by an Act of the General Assembly of New Zealand intituled the Prevention of Crime (Borstal Institutions Establishment) Act, 1924, it is provided that the Governor-General may, by Proclamation published in the Gazette, declare any building or place to be a Borstal Institution, and thereupon such building or place shall be deemed to be a Borstal Institution within the meaning of the Prevention of Crime (Borstal Institutions Establishment) Act, 1924 :
Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance of the above-recited power and authority, do hereby declare that the place described in the Schedule hereto and all the buildings and enclosures used or occupied thereon, shall from and after the date of the publication of this Proclamation in the Gazette be a Borstal Institution, known as the Waikeria Borstal Institution, within the meaning and for the purposes of the Prevention of Crime (Borstal Institutions Establishment) Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District bounded towards the north by the Puniu River from the Waikeria Stream to the Mangatutu Stream; towards the north-east by the Mangatutu Stream to the south-eastern corner of the Tokanui Block; towards the south by the southern boundary of the said Tokanui Block to the road intersecting Section 2, Block XV, Puniu Survey District; and towards the west generally by the northern continuation of the said road to an eastern tributary of the Waikeria Stream, by that tributary to the Waikeria Stream and by that stream to the Puniu River, the place of commencement; but excluding from the before-described area, for the purposes of a prison under the Prisons Act, 1908, the exercise-yard and cell-house on the east side of and immediately adjoining the main Waikeria Reformatory cell-buildings.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 29th day of June, 1925.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by an Act of the General Assembly of New Zealand intituled the Prisons Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor-General may, by Proclamation in the New Zealand Gazette, declare that any prison shall no longer be a prison; and upon the gazetting of such Proclamation, or from and after any later date fixed in such Proclamation for the purpose, such prison shall cease to be a prison :
Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance of the above-recited power and authority, do hereby declare that, from and after the gazetting of this Proclamation, the prison at Waikeria, in the Provincial District of Auckland, with the exception of the cell-house and exercise-yard immediately adjoining the eastern wall of the main Waikeria Reformatory Building, shall cease to be a prison.

Reciprocal Application of Administration of Justice Act, 1922, to New South Wales.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section three of the Administration of Justice Act, 1922, it is enacted, among other things, that where the Governor-General is satisfied that reciprocal provisions have been made by the Legislature of any part of His Majesty’s Dominions outside New Zealand, other than the United Kingdom, for the enforcement within that part of His Majesty’s Dominions of judgments obtained in the Supreme Court in New Zealand, the Governor-General may, by Proclamation, declare that Part I of the said Act shall apply with respect to that part of His Majesty’s Dominions :
And whereas the Governor-General is satisfied that the Legislature of the State of New South Wales has, by the Administration of Justice Act, 1924, made such reciprocal provisions :
