WAIPAWA COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it on
that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, the
Waipawa County Council hereby resolves as follows :—
That, for the purpose of providing instalments in respect
of principal and interest and also the other charges on a
loan of £45,000, authorized to be raised by the Waipawa
County Council under the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, for
providing the Council’s contribution under the Main High-
ways Act, 1922, towards the construction or reconstruction
of the main highways in the County of Waipawa, for pro-
viding the necessary plant and machinery for same, and for
providing funds to erect new bridges and culverts in the
said county, the said Waipawa County Council hereby makes
and levies a special rate of thirty-six one-hundredths of one
penny (36/100ths) in the pound sterling upon the rateable
property in the County of Waipawa; and that such special
rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency
of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of April
in each and every year during the currency of such loan,
being a period of thirty-six years and one-half (36½) years, or
until the loan is fully paid off.
