Lands in Taranaki Land District forfeited.

NOTICE is hereby given that the leases of the undermentioned lands having been declared forfeited by resolution of the Taranaki Land Board, the said lands have thereby reverted to the Crown under the provisions of the Land Act, 1924, and the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, and amendments.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned land will be offered for sale for cash by public auction at the District Lands and Survey Office, Wellington, on Wednesday, 5th August, 1925, at 2.30 o’clock p.m., under the provisions of the Land Act, 1924, and the Land for Settlements Act, 1908.
SCHEDULE.
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.—FIRST-CLASS LAND.
Masterton County.—Rewa Survey District.—Langdale Settlement.
SECTION 12, Block III: Area, 1 acre; upset price, £30.
Weighted with £90, valuation for improvements, consisting of an iron motor-shed and an old wooden shed with lean-to motor-shed attached, to be paid in cash.
Situated in the Langdale Settlement on the bank of the Whareama River, about twenty-six miles from Masterton. Comprises easy sloping and flat land in grass. Altitude, 70 ft. to 75 ft.
TERMS OF SALE.
One-fifth of the purchase-money to be paid on the fall of the hammer and the balance with Crown-grant fee (£1) within thirty days thereafter, otherwise the part of the purchase-money paid by way of deposit shall be forfeited, and the contract for the sale of the land be null and void.
Titles will be subject to section 60 of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1912.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned lands will be offered for sale by public auction for cash at this office on Thursday, 23rd July, 1925, at 10.30 o’clock a.m., under the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE.
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.—FIRST-CLASS LAND.
Tuapeka County.—Teiot Survey District.
SECTION 62, Block II: Area, 4 acres 2 roods 33 perches; upset price, £25.
Weighted with £112 12s., valuation for buildings and fencing, to be paid for in cash on the fall of the hammer.
Level section fronting the Roxburgh—Coal Creek Road. Situated about four miles from Roxburgh. Light soil on gravel. No water.
Waitaki County.—Oamaru Survey District.
Sections 48 and 1236R, Block III: Area, 2 acres 3 roods 21 perches; upset price, £15.
Weighted with £1 15s., valuation for fencing on main road, to be paid for in cash on the fall of the hammer.
NOTE.—Present licensee to be allowed one month within which to remove fencing at south end of Section 48.
Adjoins Town of Weston, which is about three miles and a half from Oamaru on a good metalled road. Section is an abandoned quarry and the surface is much broken, but produces good grass in parts.
TERMS OF SALE.

Pine-timber in Auckland Land District for Sale by Public Tender.

NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of the Land Act, 1924, that written tenders will be received at the above office up to 12 o’clock noon, on Friday, the 31st July, 1925, for the right to remove the whole of the Pinus radiata and Pinus pinaster trees standing or lying on Section 11, Tapapa Settlement, containing 20 acres, situated about four miles and a half from Hinuera Railway-station.
Estimated quantity: 407,000 ft.
The rights offered do not include gum-trees.
Time for removal: Twelve months.
Minimum upset price: £440.
Terms: Deposit of one-fourth with tender; one-fourth on acceptance; one-fourth in two months; and one-fourth in three months after acceptance.
The highest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.

NOTICE is hereby given that written tenders marked on the outside “Tender for Lease” will be received at this office up to 4 o’clock p.m. on Wednesday, 22nd July, 1925, for a lease of the undermentioned reserve under the provisions of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, and amendments.
Tenders must be accompanied by one year’s rent at the rate offered, plus £1 1s. lease fee.
Possession will be given on the day of acceptance of tender.
SCHEDULE.
NELSON LAND DISTRICT.
PART Section 8, Block I, Motupiko Survey District: Area, 50 acres. Minimum annual rental, £5. Term of lease: Seven years.
Situated at Kikiwa on the Main Tophouse Road. All flat to undulating land, and adjoining the Motupiko River on the back boundary. Soil of fair to poor quality.
Terms and Conditions of Lease.
- Rent is payable yearly in advance on 1st July in each and every year.
