RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Ohura County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the instalment in respect of principal and interest and also other charges on a loan of £2,000 authorized to be raised by the Ohura County Council, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, for the purpose of re-forming, culverting, and metalling the Tongaporutu-Mangaroa Road from the three-mile peg to the junction of the Weraroa Road, the said Ohura County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of twopence and one-eighth of a penny (2⅛d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Tongaporutu Special-rating District, comprising the following sections—1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 11, Part 11, Town Reserve, 13, Part 13, Town Reserve, 15, 16, 12, 14, Part 14, Part 12, Block VII, Waro S.D.; Sections 2, 3, 4, 5, 1, Block III, Waro S.D.; Sections 10, 11, Block VIII, Waro S.D.; Sections 5, 6, 4, Block VI, Waro S.D.; Sections 16, 20, 21, 22, Block V, Ohura S.D.; Section 18, Block VII, Waro S.D.: And that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the fourteenth day of February, in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years or until the loan is fully paid off.
