And whereas the purchase of the Native land set out in the Schedule hereto has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the Native Land Act, 1909, and its amendments:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority so conferred upon me by section fourteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, I, Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim that the Native land set out in the Schedule hereto has become Crown land.
SCHEDULE.
PART Pukenui 2d Section 1, comprising Sections 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, and 15, Block XV, Te Kuiti Native Township: Area, 1 acre 1 rood 2 perches.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 19th day of January, 1925.

Amendments to the Regulations under the Government Railways Act, 1908.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington this 19th day of January, 1925.
Present:
His Excellency The Governor-General In Council.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon him by the Government Railways Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby amend the regulations made under the said Act on the twelfth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two, by omitting from Regulation 1 the words "'Permanent Head' means the General Manager of Railways, or the member for the time being acting for or on his behalf," and substituting the following : "'Permanent Head' means the Board of Management of the Department acting through the Chairman or any member thereof or other person authorized in that behalf by the said Board."
And, with the like advice and consent, and in further pursuance of the said power and authority, His Excellency the Governor-General of the said Dominion doth hereby declare that this Order in Council shall be deemed to have come into operation on the twelfth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four.

Appointing Members of the Surveyors' Board under the Surveyors' Institute and Board of Examiners Act, 1908.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 19th day of January, 1925.

His Excellency The Governor-General In Council.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Surveyors' Institute and Board of Examiners Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby appoint, as from the first day of January, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five, the undermentioned persons to be members of the Surveyors' Board constituted by the said Act, namely,-
George Henry Bullard,
Thomas Brook,
Samuel Thomas Seddon, M.C., and Archibald Hugh Bogle,
the two first-named persons having been nominated by the Minister of Lands, and the two last-named persons having been nominated by the Council of the Institute of Surveyors, as required by the said Act.

Consenting to stopping Portion of Road in Block XII, Hamilton Survey District, Waipa County.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anyway enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the Waipa County Council stopping the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road permitted to be stopped : 4 acres 2 roods 30 perches.
Adjoining or passing through Sections 42, 43, 231, and 232, Pukekura Parish, Block XII, Hamilton Survey District. (S.O. 2 216.)
In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 61718, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured green.

Declaring Portion of Glenora Road, in the Akitio County, to be a County Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 19th day of January, 1925.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anyway enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto, shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a Government road.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of road in the Wellington Land District, Akitio County, known as the Glenora Road, commencing at a point near the northernmost boundary of Section 82, Block V, Waimata Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a northerly direction adjoining or passing through Sections 79, 78, 77, 75, and part Section 76, Block III, Waimata Survey District, and terminating at a point in the said Section 76, being a distance of 2 miles 55 chains, more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 61736, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.
