And whereas the purchase of the Native land set out in the Schedule hereto has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the Native Land Act, 1909, and its amendments:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority so conferred upon me by section fourteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim that the Native land set out in the Schedule hereto has become Crown land.

SCHEDULE.

Parihaka No. 55 Block, being Subdivision 55, Block XIV, Cape Survey District: Approximate area, 196 acres 3 roods 34 perches.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 1st day of April, 1925.

Declaring Portion of the Wanganui River Road (Left Bank) in the Wanganui County to be a County Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 30th day of March, 1925.
Present:
THE HONOURABLE SIR FRANCIS BELL PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anyway enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.

SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of road in the Wellington Land District, Wanganui County, known as the Wanganui River Road (left bank), commencing at a point on the boundary between 9N Upokongaro No. 1 Block, Block XIV, Waipakura Survey District, and Omaru No. 1 Block, Block XI, Waipakura Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a northerly direction adjoining or passing through Omaru No. 1 Block, Omaru No. 2B Block, and part Patupa Block, Block XI, Waipukura Survey District, and terminating at a point 5½ chains north of the boundary between the said Patupa and Omaru No. 2B Blocks; being a distance of 1 mile 38 chains, more or less. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 62124, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

(Gisborne R.D.) (S.O. 1015, brown.) In the Gisborne Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 56466, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured green.
