ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 23rd day
of March, 1925.
Present:
THE HONOURABLE SIR FRANCIS BELL PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him
by section three of the Explosive and Dangerous Goods
Amendment Act, 1920 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”),
His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare
cinematograph-film, as defined in the Schedule hereto, to be
dangerous goods within the meaning of the said Act; and
doth further declare that the provisions of the said Act con-
ferring powers or imposing duties on local authorities in
respect of dangerous goods shall have no application in respect
of cinematograph-film, and that this Order shall come into
force on the thirty-first day of March, one thousand nine
hundred and twenty-five.
SCHEDULE.
THE expression “cinematograph-film” means any film con-
taining the substances known as celluloid and xylonite and
other similar substances containing nitrated cellulose or other
nitrated products, which film is intended for use in a cine-
matograph or other similar apparatus.

Honey-export Control Act, 1924.—Fixing Date after which

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 23rd day
of March, 1925.
Present:
THE HONOURABLE SIR FRANCIS BELL PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority
conferred upon him by subsection one of section twenty
of the Honey-export Control Act, 1924, His Excellency the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, doth hereby fix the twenty-sixth day
of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five, as
the date after which there shall be paid by way of levy on
all honey exported from New Zealand such charges as may
from time to time be prescribed by regulations under the
said Act.

Control Board may give Notice of Intention to assume
Limited Control in respect of the Export of Honey.—Notice

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 23rd day
of March, 1925.
Present:
THE HONOURABLE SIR FRANCIS BELL PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon
him by the Honey-export Control Act, 1924, and of all
other powers enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, doth hereby prescribe that notice by
the New Zealand Honey Control Board of its intention to
assume limited control of honey exported from New Zealand
to the United Kingdom, the Irish Free State, and the Con-
tinent of Europe, to the extent of determining that all such
honey shall be consigned to the Board’s London agents, shall
be given in accordance with the following conditions:

Such notice shall be given either by service or publica-
tion as hereinafter provided not less than seven days before
it becomes operative. -
Where notice is given by publication in a newspaper or
newspapers, such publication shall be made in the New Zea-
land Gazette and in at least one newspaper published in each
land district.
- Where a notice is to be served on either an owner of
any honey or on any person having possession thereof, such
notice shall be forwarded by “registered post.”

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 23rd day
of March, 1925.
Present:
THE HONOURABLE SIR FRANCIS BELL PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him
by the Honey-export Control Act, 1924 (hereinafter
referred to as “the said Act”), His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
Dominion, doth hereby make the following regulations for
the purposes of the said Act.
REGULATIONS.
(1.) THE maximum fees payable to members of the Board
shall be as follows:
Chairman ... ... £50 per annum.
Other members ... ... £25 per annum.
(2.) The maximum rate of travelling-allowance payable
to members of the Board shall be £1 per diem, plus actual
locomotion expenses.
(3.) The charge payable by way of levy on all honey
intended for export shall be one-sixteenth of a penny per
pound.
(4.) Any moneys payable under clause 3 hereof shall be
paid to the Collector of Customs, on behalf of the Board, on
or before the entry of the honey for export.

Exempting certain Goods imported into Cook Islands from
Special Customs Duty payable under Section 300 of the
Customs Act, 1913.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 16th day
of March, 1925.
Present:
THE HONOURABLE SIR FRANCIS BELL PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him
by section three hundred of the Customs Act, 1913,
His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of
New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of
the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby
remit the Customs duty imposed by that section on all goods
of the classes specified in the Schedule hereto, imported into
the Cook Islands after the commencement of this Order.
This Order in Council is in substitution for an Order in
Council issued under section three hundred of the Customs
Act, 1913, on the twenty-third day of February, one thousand
nine hundred and twenty-five, and published in the Gazette
of the twenty-sixth day of the same month, and that Order
in Council is hereby accordingly revoked. This Order in
Council shall come into force on the date of the publication
thereof in the New Zealand Gazette.
SCHEDULE.
GOODS EXEMPTED FROM SPECIAL CUSTOMS DUTY UNDER
SECTION 300 OF THE CUSTOMS ACT, 1913.
COTTON piece-goods, linen piece-goods, and piece-goods of
mixed linen and cotton—
(1.) Having thereon or therein patterns, devices, or designs,
which indicate that they are to be cut up; or
(2.) Being so woven, or marked, as to indicate that they
are to be cut up; or
(3.) Being dress nets, curtain nets, embroidery nets, and
similar nets, lace-curtain material, and veilings, all
kinds ; muslins n.e.i.
