A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the Scenery Preservation Board, constituted pursuant to the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908, has recommended that the lands described in the Schedule hereto should be permanently reserved for scenic purposes, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation:
Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908, and by section fifty-eight of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal and Public Bodies Empowering Act, 1919, do hereby proclaim and declare that the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be scenic reserves under the first-mentioned Act, and subject to the provisions thereof.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation made on the twenty-first day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one, and published in the Gazette of the thirtieth day of June, then instant, setting apart settlement land for selection by discharged soldiers, under the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, in so far as it relates to the land described in the Schedule hereto.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Waikato-Thames Railway to take further land at Tirohia, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:
Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections twenty-nine and one hundred and eighty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

APPROXIMATE area of the pieces of land : 2 acres 2 roods 19·3 perches.

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked W.R. 35512, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the Stratford Main Trunk Railway (Te Wera Quarry) in Block X, Ngatimaru Survey District.
