(2.) The salaries of the infant mistresses in mixed schools of Grades VB, VC, and VIA, of the second female assistants in mixed schools of Grade VII, of the assistant (if a woman) in the secondary department of a district high school of Grade A, and of the second assistant (if a woman) of Grades C and D shall be £30 per annum higher than the salaries prescribed in Schedule IV above.

(3.) Similarly the salary of the infant mistress in schools of Grade IIIC shall be £25 higher than that prescribed above.

(4.) The annual salary of a student assistant shall be £135 for a female, and £140 for a male teacher, but a student assistant will not be entitled to any other salary or allowance.

  1. Grading Additions.—(1.) Every certificated teacher who is permanently employed in a public school of Grade 1 or a higher grade who is graded in accordance with the regulations for the time being in force for the grading of teachers, and whose position on the grading list is sufficiently high, shall be entitled to receive by way of addition to the salary payable to him under the provisions of clause 4 hereof an amount determined in accordance with Schedule V hereof.
