NOTICE has been received under the hand of the Re- turning Officer of the Hunterville Rabbit District, constituted under Part III of the Rabbit Nuisance Act, 1908, that Robert Gardner Dalziell, Kelvin McKelvie Hammond, William Alfred Illston, John Leslie Lambert, Logan McLean, Alexander Grant McCallum Kirkpatrick Simpson, and Lewis Ephraim Weston have been duly elected trustees of the said district. W. NOSWORTHY, Minister of Agriculture. Taieri River Trust. WHEREAS by Warrant dated the 26th day of August, 1924, and published in Gazette No. 58, of the 28th day of the same month, John Reuben Marks, Esquire, District Engineer, Public Works Department, Dunedin, was appointed a Commissioner of the Taieri River Trust, in terms of section 3 of the Taieri River Improvement Act, 1920. And whereas the said John Reuben Marks has now left New Zealand, and it is considered expedient to appoint another Commissioner in lieu of the said John Reuben Marks : Now, therefore, I, Joseph Gordon Coates, Minister of Public Works, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section 3 of the Taieri River Improvement Act, 1920, and of every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, do hereby cancel the C appointment of the said John Reuben Marks to be a Commissioner of the Taieri River Trust, and do hereby appoint Elwyn Frank Evans, Esquire, Assistant Engineer, Public Works Department, Beaumont, to be a Commissioner of the Taieri River Trust. As witness my hand at Wellington, this 18th day of March, 1925. J. G. COATES, Minister of Public Works. Notice to make Returns of Land under the Land and Income Tax Act, 1923. NOTICE is hereby given that in pursuance of the above Act and the Regulations made thereunder, every person and company within the meaning of the said Act, whether a taxpayer or not, being owner of land in New Zealand, is hereby required to make and furnish to me, in the prescribed form, returns of such land as at 12 o'clock noon on the 31st day of March, 1925. If the total unimproved value of the land of any person or company, as assessed under the Valuation of Land Act, 1908, does not exceed £500, a return of land need not be furnished. And, further, notice is hereby given that such returns shall in all cases be delivered at or forwarded to the office of the Commissioner of Taxes, in the Government Buildings at Wellington on or before the 8th day of April, 1925.
