N OTICE is hereby given that the lease of the under-
mentioned land having been declared forfeited by
resolution of the Wellington Land Board, the said land has
thereby reverted to the Crown in terms of the Land Act,
1924, and the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915.

Public Auction.

N OTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned educa-
tion reserve will be offered for lease by public auction
for a term of twenty-one years at this office on Wednesday,
19th March, 1925, at 11 o'clock a.m. under the provisions
of the Education Reserves Act, 1908, and amendments and
the Public Bodies' Leases Act, 1908.
SCHEDULE.
SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT.
SECTION 16, Block II, Waikawa Survey District : Area,
7 acres 0 roods 22 perches; upset annual rent, £2.
Weighted with £75, valuation for improvements, consisting
of cottage, outbuildings, fencing, and clearing.
Situated about one mile and a half from Waikawa Town-
ship on both sides of main road. Nearly all in natural state
carrying light native bush. Adjoins school.
Abstract of Conditions of Lease.
- Possession will be given on day of sale.
- Term of lease, twenty-one years from 1st July, 1925.
- At end of term, lease to be submitted at auction
weighted with valuation for improvements payable by in-
coming tenant. - A half-year's rent at the rate offered and rent for the
broken period between the date of sale and 30th June, 1925,
lease and registration fees (£2 2s.) to be paid on the fall of
the hammer. - No assignment, sublease, mortgage, or other disposition
without consent of Land Board. - Interest at rate of 10 per cent. per annum to be paid
on rent in arrears. - Consent of Land Board to be obtained before sub-
dividing, erecting any buildings, or effecting other improve-
ments. - Lease will be registered under Land Transfer Act.
- Lease liable to forfeiture if conditions violated.
The valuation for improvements to be paid for on the fall
of the hammer.

N OTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of the Hauraki
Plains Act, 1908, that written tenders will be received
at the above office up to 12 o'clock noon on Thursday, 19th
March, 1925, for the right to cut approximately 600 tons
of flax on an area of 289 acres in Section 41, Block XIII,
Waihou Survey District.
Minimum upset price, £250. Time allowed for cutting,
one year.

described in the Schedule hereto will be offered for
lease by public auction at the North Auckland District Lands
and Survey Office, Auckland, at 10 o'clock a.m. on Thursday,
2nd April, 1925, under the provisions of the Education
Reserves Act, 1908, and amendments, and the Public Bodies'
Leases Act, 1908.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.--EDUCATION RESERVES.
Manukau County.--Weymouth Suburbs.
LOT 6 : Area, 4 acres 2 roods 32 perches ; upset annual
rental, £12.
Weighted with £40, valuation for improvements, comprising
fencing and grassing.
Lot 24 : Area, 8 acres 2 roods 10 perches ; upset annual
rental, £22.
Weighted with £10, valuation for improvements, com-
pising fencing.
Lot 6 : Level land in good pasture. Soil, dark loam of
good quality on clay subsoil. Some 20 ft. to 30 ft. above
sea-level. Approximately a quarter of a mile from beach.
Lot 24 : Level to undulating section, 7½ acres in grass
(worn out) and 2 acres scrub, &c. Soil, dark loam of good
quality on clay formation. Elevation, 20 ft to 40 ft. above
sea-level. One-quarter of a mile from beach. Small spring
on property.
Weymouth is situated three miles from Manurewa by
metalled road, and is a popular seaside resort on the Manukau
Harbour.
Manukau County.--Weymouth Village.
Section 13A : Area, 2 roods 4·5 perches ; upset annual
rental, £5.
Weighted with £25, valuation for improvements, consisting
of boat-shed and fencing.
Section situated in Weymouth Village, on shore of Manukau
Harbour. Ideal week-end or summer seaside section, three
miles from Manurewa Railway-station by good metalled
road. Weymouth is becoming an increasingly popular
watering-place.
Waitemata County.--Pukeatua Parish.
Section 288 : Area, 102 acres 3 roods 27 perches ; upset
annual rental, £31.
Section situated on Albany Dairy Flat Road, access being
from Albany one mile and three-quarters away, on good
metalled road. Regular bus service to Birkenhead runs to
within half a mile. Cream from locality goes to Paerata at
present. Land is easy undulating, all more or less ploughable,
and lies well to the sun. Soil is of clay on sandstone. Well
watered by swamps.
Bay of Islands County.--Kawakawa Parish.
Sections 12, E. 13, and W. 13 : Area, 78 acres l rood
5 perches ; upset annual rental, £9.
Weighted with £50, valuation for improvements, comprising
50 chains fencing.
The altitude ranges from 350 ft. to 500 ft. above sea-level.
Undulating to easy sloping country, in manuka, fern, and few
patches of gorse. Good rough feed in danthonia and paspalum.
Soil is poor to fair clay on sandstone formation, and section
