WELLINGTON, THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 12, 1925.
ERRATA.—In the Proclamation dated the 19th day of January, 1925, and published in Supplementary Gazette No. 5, page 236, of the 24th day of January, 1925, taking land for the development of water-power (Lake Coleridge scheme) in Blocks X and XI, Christchurch Survey District, insert “the second day of February, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five” in lieu of “the second day of January, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five” as the date on which the said Proclamation shall take effect.
In Schedule to Warrant appointing Postmasters to take and receive statutory declarations published in New Zealand Gazette No. 4, of the 23rd January, 1925, page 172, for “Miss Ellen May Grierson Wollett” read “Miss Ellen May Grierson Woollett.”
Allocating Land reserved and taken for a Railway to the Purposes of a Street in City of Wellington, near Kaiwarra.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms part of land taken for the purposes of the Wellington-Napier Railway, and it is considered desirable to allocate such land to the purposes of a street:
Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by section one hundred and ninety-seven of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become a street, and that the said street shall be under the control of the Wellington City Council, and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land: 1 acre 3 roods 37·1 perches.

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked W.R. 19885(8), deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 2nd day of February, 1925.

Proclaiming a Road-line laid out through Taurewa 4 West Block to be a Public Road.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto was by an order of the Native Land Court made on the twenty-first day of January, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four, duly laid off as a road-line, in pursuance of sections forty-nine and fifty of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913:
And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road, and a notification to that effect has been forwarded to the Minister of Lands, in terms of section fifty-one of the said Act:
And whereas one month’s notice in writing of the intention to proclaim the said road-line as a public road has been given by the Surveyor-General to the local authority of the district concerned, in terms of section fifteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914:
And whereas it is now expedient that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road:
Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by sections forty-nine and fifty of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913, and in so far as each of these sections is applicable, do hereby proclaim as a public road the road-line described in the Schedule hereto.
