MANGAWHERO DRAINAGE BOARD.

PURSUANT to section 12 of the Local Bodies' Loans Act,
1913, I hereby give notice that a poll of the ratepayers
of the Mangawhero Drainage District was taken on the 21st
day of November, 1924, on the proposal of the Board to
borrow the sum of £2,500 for the purpose of clearing, widen-
ing, deepening, and straightening of the Mangawhero Stream.
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 37;
the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 1.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.
