SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of street, situated in the Wellington Land District, City of Wellington, known as Poro Street, fronting Lot 103 (D.P. 65), part Section 4, Evans Bay R.D. As the said portion of street is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 61577, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

The Northern Side of Portion of Maryhill Terrace, in the City of Dunedin, exempted from the Provisions of Section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1908; subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 2nd day of February, 1925.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in any-wise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Dunedin City Council on the seventeenth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four, viz. :—
“That the Council of the City of Dunedin hereby resolves that the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to that portion of the northern side of that street in the City of Dunedin known as Maryhill Terrace, where the said portion of the said street abuts on Allotments 72 and 73, Glen Estate; as the said portion of the said street is more particularly shown by brown colour on the plan hereunto annexed ”;
subject to the conditions that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the northern side of the portion of Mayhill Terrace (described in the Schedule hereto), within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of street.

As the said portion of street is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 61380, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured brown.

The Northern Side of Portion of Norfolk Street, in the City of Auckland, exempted from the Provisions of Section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1908.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Auckland City Council on the eleventh day of December, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four, viz. :—
“That the Auckland City Council, having control of Norfolk Street, Auckland, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to the said street fronting a subdivision of part Lots 82, 86, and 87 of Allotments 31 and 42, Section 8, Suburbs of Auckland ”; such portion of street being described in the Schedule hereto.

THE northern side of all that portion of street, situated in the North Auckland Land District, City of Auckland, known as Norfolk Street, fronting a subdivision of part Lots 82, 86, and 87 of Allotments 31 and 42, Section 8, Suburbs of Auckland. As the said portion of street is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 61692, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured blue.

Prescribing the Rate of Interest that may be paid by the Waikohu County Council in respect of a Loan of £2,000, being a Further Portion of a Loan of £16,900 authorized to be raised for metalling and widening Portion of the Motu Valley Road.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 2nd day of February, 1925.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section eleven of the Finance Act, 1921, and its amendments, it is provided that, notwithstanding anything to the contrary in any Act or in any rule of law, where a local authority or public body has been authorized before the passing of the said Act, or is thereafter authorized, to borrow money, whether pursuant to a poll of ratepayers or otherwise howsoever, whether the rate of interest or the term of years of the loan was or was not specified or determined, and such money or any part thereof has not been borrowed, the local authority may, with the precedent consent of the Minister of Finance, borrow such money, or such amount thereof as has not been borrowed, at such rate of interest, or for such term, as may be prescribed by the Governor-General by Order in Council :
And whereas the Waikohu County Council has been authorized to borrow the sum of sixteen thousand nine hundred pounds for metalling and widening portion of the Motu Valley Road, and is now desirous of raising the sum of two thousand pounds, being a further portion of the loan of sixteen thousand nine hundred pounds :
And whereas the Minister of Finance has given his precedent consent as required by the above-recited section eleven, and it is desired that the rate of interest at which the money may be borrowed be not exceeding five and three-quarters per centum per annum :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in him as aforesaid, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby prescribe that the rate of interest that may be paid by the Waikohu County Council in respect of the said loan of two thousand pounds shall be a rate not exceeding five and three-quarters per centum per annum, and the said Waikohu County Council is hereby authorized to borrow the said sum of two thousand pounds accordingly.
