Extending the Maintenance Orders (Facilities for Enforcement) Ordinance No. 15 of 1921 (Ceylon) to New Zealand.

THE following Proclamation, extending the Maintenance Orders (Facilities for Enforcement) Ordinance No. 15 of 1921 (Ceylon) to Maintenance Orders made by Courts in New Zealand, is published for general information.

PROCLAMATION.
By His Excellency Sir William Henry Manning, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, Companion of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over the Island of Ceylon, with the Dependencies thereof.

WHEREAS by section 12 of the Maintenance Orders (Facilities for Enforcement) Ordinance No. 15 of 1921, as amended by the Maintenance Orders (Facilities for Enforcement) (Amendment) Ordinance No. 11 of 1922, it is enacted that where the Governor is satisfied that reciprocal provisions have been made by the Legislature of any British possession or any territory under His Majesty's protection for the enforcement within such possession or territory of maintenance orders made by Courts in Ceylon, the Governor may, by Proclamation published in the Government Gazette, extend this Ordinance to maintenance orders made by Courts within such possession or territory, and that thereupon the Ordinance shall apply to such maintenance orders as if they had been made in England or Ireland:
And whereas we are satisfied that reciprocal provisions as aforesaid have been made by the Legislature of the British possession appearing in the Schedule hereto for the enforcement within the said possession of maintenance orders made by Courts in Ceylon:
Now, know Ye that We, the Governor of Ceylon, in exercise of the power in Us vested as aforesaid, do hereby extend the Maintenance Orders (Facilities for Enforcement) Ordinance No. 15 of 1921 to maintenance orders made by Courts within the said possession.
Given at Colombo, in the said Island of Ceylon, this ninth day of August, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four.

SCHEDULE.
New Zealand.
Redefining Boundaries of the Borough of Te Awamutu and the County of Waipa.
Department of Internal Affairs,
Wellington, 23rd December, 1924.
PURSUANT to the provisions of section 141 of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, the boundaries of the Borough of Te Awamutu are hereby defined as set out in the First Schedule hereto, the boundaries of the said borough having been altered by Order in Council dated the 29th day of September, 1924, made under the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, and published in Gazette No. 63, of the 2nd day of October, 1924.
And also, in pursuance of the provisions of the said section 141 of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, the boundaries of the County of Waipa affected by the said Order in Council dated the 29th day of September, 1924, are hereby defined as set out in the Second Schedule hereto.
And in further pursuance of the provisions of the said section 141 of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, the boundaries of the Rangiaohia Riding of the County of Waipa affected by a Proclamation dated the 6th day of December, 1924, made under the Counties Act, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 11th day of December, 1924, are hereby defined as set out in the Third Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
BOUNDARIES OF BOROUGH OF TE AWAMUTU.
All that area in the Auckland Land District bounded by a line commencing at the south-eastern corner of Allotment
243, Mangapiko Parish, and proceeding north-easterly along the south-eastern boundaries of that allotment and Allotment 242, Mangapiko Parish aforesaid; thence across a road to and along the south-eastern boundary of Allotment 317, Mangapiko Parish aforesaid, to the Mangapiko Stream; thence easterly generally along the left bank of that stream to and thence up the middle of Mangahoe Stream to Allotment 129, Puniu Parish; thence south-westerly along the north-western boundary of said Allotment 129; thence along a right line to the northernmost corner of Allotment 139, Puniu Parish aforesaid; thence southerly generally along the eastern boundaries of said Allotment 139, across a road, to and thence for a distance of 1000 links along the north-western boundary of Allotment 142, Puniu Parish aforesaid; thence westerly along a right line to the easternmost corner of Allotment 144A, Puniu Parish aforesaid; thence north-westerly along the north-eastern boundary of said Allotment 144A, a distance of 670 links; thence south-westerly along a right line to a point in the south-western boundary-line of Allotment 145, Puniu Parish aforesaid, distant 1000 links from its south-western corner; thence north-westerly along the last mentioned boundary; thence north-easterly along the south-eastern side of Otorohanga Road to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Allotment 232, Mangapiko Parish aforesaid; thence north-westerly to and along that boundary; thence by a right line to peg No. VIII in the North Island Main Trunk Railway Reserve intersecting Allotment 230, said Mangapiko Parish; thence south-westerly along a right line bearing 264° 30', a distance of 3700 links; thence north-westerly along a right line to the south-eastern corner of Allotment 243, Mangapiko Parish aforesaid, the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages a little more or less.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
BOUNDARIES OF THE COUNTY OF WAIPA.
All that area in the Auckland Land District bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of the Waipa River at the south-western corner of the Borough of Ngaruawahia, described in New Zealand Gazette, 1921, page 501, and proceeding easterly generally along the southern boundaries of that borough to the Waikato River; thence south-easterly generally up the middle of that river to the Borough of Hamilton, described in New Zealand Gazette, 1917, page 246; thence south-westerly generally and south-easterly generally along the north-western and south-western boundaries respectively of the last-named borough to the Waikato River aforesaid; thence up the middle of said Waikato River to the Town District of Leamington, described in New Zealand Gazette, 1922, page 2620; thence southerly, easterly, and northerly along the western, southern, and eastern boundaries respectively of that town district to the Waikato River; thence south-easterly up the middle of that river to the north-eastern corner of Allotment 227, Pukekura Parish; thence south-westerly along the south-eastern boundaries of said Allotment 227 and Allotments 185, 186, 187, 226, all of Pukekura Parish, to Trig. 52, Pukekura; thence south-easterly along the north-eastern boundaries of Pukekura 18B 1c, 18B 1b, 18B 1a, and 18B 2 Blocks; thence south-westerly along the south-eastern boundary of the last-named block; thence south-easterly along the north-eastern boundaries of Pukekura 17 and 15 Blocks; thence along a right line to Trig. 1427, Maungatautari; thence along a right line to a point in the middle of the Waikato River opposite the north-western corner of Section 9, Block XII, Maungatautari Survey District; thence southerly generally up the middle of that river to a point opposite the south-eastern corner of Section 3, Block III, Wharepapa Survey District; thence south-westerly along the south-eastern boundaries of said Section 3 and Sections 2 and 1, Block III aforesaid, and of Sections 5 and 3, Block II, Wharepapa Survey District; thence north-westerly generally along the south-western boundaries of said Section 3 and Sections 4 and 8, Block II aforesaid, to the Puniu River; thence down the middle of the Puniu River to the junction of the Moerika Stream with that river; thence westerly generally along a right line to the southernmost corner of Lot 1 of Tokanui A Block; thence along the southern boundary of said Lot 1 to a public road; thence southerly along the eastern side of that road to a point opposite the northern boundary of Tokanui C 4 Block; thence across that road to and along the last-named boundary to the north-west corner of said Lot 2; thence along a right line to the northernmost corner of Tokanui C 11 Block; thence along the north-western boundary of the last-named block; thence along the north-eastern, northern, and north-western boundaries of Ouruwhero 3x Block; thence along the southern boundary of Section 1, Block X, Puniu Survey District; thence southerly, westerly, northerly, and again westerly along the eastern, southern, western, and southern boundaries respectively of said Section 1; thence westerly along the northern boundaries of Ouruwhero 30 1, 30 2c, 30 3, 3F 5, 3F 2, and 3F 1 Blocks to the Waipa River; thence
