Declaring Land taken for a Government Work, and not required for that Purpose, to be Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and the Public Works Amendment Act, 1909, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Robert Stout, the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1908.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of stopped Government roads declared Crown land :—

0 0 13·3 Adjoining or passing through Lot 2A of 2.
0 3 13 " 2A of 2.
1 1 12 " 2B of 2.

Situated in Block IV, Newcastle Survey District. (S.O. 23028.)

In the Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 58699, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 2nd day of December, 1924.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of stopped Government road declared Crown land : 5·5 perches.

Adjoining or passing through part Rural Section 242, Block XI, Christchurch Survey District (Canterbury R.D.). (S.O. 1884.)

In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 59050, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 2nd day of December, 1924.

ERRATUM.—In Regulation No. 114B (1) of the Order in Council dated 17th November, 1924, and published in New Zealand Gazette No. 77, of 20th November, 1924, specifying certain amendments to the regulations under the Government Railways Act, 1908, for the words “(other than depot-chargemen, engine-drivers, night foremen of cleaners, and cleaners)” read “(other than depot chargemen, engine-drivers, night foremen of cleaners, firemen, and cleaners).”
