Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one two-thousand-two-hundredth of a penny (1/2200d.) in the pound sterling (such rate to be) in addition to the special rate of 1/180d. made on the 6th day of May, 1920, in respect of the said original loan of £2,500) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property within the County of Rangitikei, exclusive of the Town District of Lethbridge; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of May in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

RANGITIKEI COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING AND LEVYING SPECIAL RATE.—LOAN OF £80 (10 PER CENT. ADDITIONAL), OTAIRI NO. 2 SPECIAL-RATING DISTRICT.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Rangitikei County Council hereby resolves as follows:—

That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest, and also the other charges on a loan of £80 (being ten per centum additional of the amount of the original loan of £800) authorized to be raised by the Rangitikei County Council under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, for the purpose of widening the Otairi Road for a distance of about three miles and metalling for the first time about sixty chains of the said Otairi Road, and the cost of raising the loan and the first year’s interest and sinking fund of the loan to be paid out of the loan, the said Rangitikei County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-thirtieth of a penny (1/30d.) in the pound sterling (such rate to be in addition to the special rate of one-third of a penny in the pound sterling made on the 21st day of December, 1922, in respect of the said original loan of £800) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property of the Otairi Road No. 2 Special-rating District as described on page 126 of the New Zealand Gazette of the 11th January, 1923; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of May in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

RANGITIKEI COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING AND LEVYING SPECIAL RATE.—LOAN OF £200, WORKERS’ DWELLINGS.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Rangitikei County hereby resolves as follows:—

That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest, and also the other charges on a further loan of £200 (being ten per centum additional of the amount of the original loan of £2,000), authorized to be raised by the Rangitikei County Council under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, for the purpose of erecting workers’ dwellings for occupation by workers employed or resident within the County of Rangitikei and to purchase the necessary land upon which all or any of the said dwellings are to be erected, the said Rangitikei County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one two-thousand-seven-hundredth of a penny (1/2700d.) in the pound sterling (such rate to be in addition to the special rate of 1/270d. made on the 28th day of September, 1922, in respect of the said original loan of £2,000) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property within the County of Rangitikei, exclusive of the Town District of Lethbridge; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of May in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

RESOLUTION MAKING AND LEVYING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Rangitikei County Council hereby resolves as follows:—

That, for the purpose of providing the interest, sinking fund, and other charges on a special loan of eighteen hundred pounds (£1,800), authorized to be raised by the Rangitikei County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of metalling for the first time the Koukoupo Road from its junction with the Owhakura Road southwards to the bridge over the Koukoupo Creek at Colliers, being a distance of about 180 chains, and the cost of raising the loan and the first year’s interest and sinking fund of the loan to be paid out of the loan, the said Rangitikei County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of four-ninths of a penny (4/9d.) in the pound sterling upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property of the Koukoupo Special-rating District, and comprising Sections 1 to 7 inclusive, 74, and 75, Part Rangiwaea No. 4 (693 acres 0 roods 36 perches), Rangiwaea Otaroro 2B (70 acres 0 roods 36 perches), Okehu No. 1 (99 acres 3 roods 0 perches), Okehu No. 2A (23 acres 0 roods 10 perches), Okehu Nos. 2B and 2C (together, 539 acres 2 roods 10 perches), all in Block V; Section 76 in Blocks V and VI; Section E.R. 79 in Blocks V, VI, and X and Okehu No. 3 (314 acres 0 roods 32 perches), and Okehu No. 4 (390 acres 0 roods 1 perch), in Block VI; all being in the Maungakaretu Survey District: as the said special-rating district is more particularly shown upon the plan attached to the ratepayers’ consent to the said loan and thereon bordered red. And that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of May in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

WAITOMO COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Waitomo County Council hereby resolves as follows:—

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £2,000, authorized to be raised by the Waitomo County Council under the above-mentioned Act for re-forming, widening, culverting, and metalling portion of the Te Kumi-Hangatiki Road, the said Waitomo County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of twopence halfpenny in the pound (£1) upon the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property of the Te Kumi Hangatiki Special-rating District, comprising the area bounded by a line commencing at the south-western corner of Te Kumi No. 7A, Block XV, Orahiri Survey District, and proceeding thence in a northerly direction along the western boundaries of the said Te Kumi No. 7A, No. 7B, 7F 3B, 7F 3A, 7F Section 2, and 7F Section 1B, to the north-western corner of the said 7F 1B; thence along the south-western and north-western boundaries of Pehitawa 2B 9 to a point on the south-western boundary of Piha No. 1A, and continuing by an imaginary line through that section to the eastern corner of Piha 1B No. 1; thence along the north-eastern boundary of that section to the Mangapu Stream; thence north-easterly generally along that stream, portion of the south-western, the eastern, and portion of the north-eastern boundaries of Hauturu East 2B No. 3, and again along the Mangapu Stream to the northern boundary of Hauturu East 1E Section 5C No. 2A No. 2B; thence along that boundary to the western boundary of Pukeroa Hangatiki 4C No. 2; thence along that boundary and the north-western boundary of Pukeroa-Hangatiki 1C No. 3 (part) to the northern corner of that section; thence along the north-eastern boundary of that section to the Te Kuiti-Otorohanga Road; thence along that road to the northerly corner of Pukeroa-Hangatiki No. 1B; thence along the north-eastern boundary of that section to the railway-line; thence in a south-westerly direction along the railway-line to the south-eastern corner of Te Kumi 7D Section 2B; thence along the south-western boundary of that section, the eastern boundaries of Te Kumi No. 7D Section 2C 1, 2, and 3, to the Mangaokewa Stream; thence along that stream to the southern boundary of Te Kumi No. 7C; thence along that boundary across the road and along the southern boundary of Te Kumi No. 7A to the
