District.

A PROCLAMATION.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by the Discharged Soldiers Settle-
ment Act, 1915, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do
hereby revoke the Proclamation made on the thirteenth day
of February, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one, and
published in the Gazette of the seventeenth day of February
then instant, setting apart settlement lands for selection by
discharged soldiers, under the Discharged Soldiers Settlement
Act, 1915, in so far as it relates to the land described in the
Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
HAWKE'S BAY LAND DISTRICT.-SETTLEMENT LAND.
Takapau Survey District.-Marakeke Settlement.
Section 4s: Area, 201 acres 1 rood.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-

conferred upon me by the Discharged Soldiers Settle-
ment Act, 1915, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do
hereby revoke the Proclamation made on the fourteenth day
of February, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, and
published in the Gazette of the twenty-sixth day of February
then instant, setting apart Crown land for selection by dis-
charged soldiers, under the Discharged Soldiers Settlement
Act, 1915.

under the Seal of that Dominion, this 27th day of Sep-
tember, 1924.

Constituting the Franklin Electric-power District and Outer Area.

A PROCLAMATION.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
section three of the Electric-power Boards Act, 1918,
and of every other power and authority in anyway enabling
me in this behalf, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, .do
hereby proclaim the district described in the First Schedule
hereto to be an electric-power district, and I hereby assign
to such district the name of the "Franklin Electric-power
District"; and I do further proclaim that the area described
in the Second Schedule hereto shall be the outer area of such
electric-power district.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
FRANKLIN ELECTRIC-POWER DISTRICT.
All that area in the North Auckland Land District com-
prising the County of Franklin, the Borough of Pukekohe, the
Town District of Waiuku, and the Town District of Tuakau,
all as at present constituted. As the same is more parti-
cularly delineated on plan marked P.W.D. 60644, deposited
in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington,
and thereon edged in blue.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
OUTER AREA.
All that area in the Auckland Land District, comprising the
Onewhero and Port Waikato Ridings of the County of Raglan
as described in the New Zealand Gazette of the year 1917,
page 2185, and the Pukekawa Riding of the County of Raglan
as described in the New Zealand Gazette of the year 1920,
page 1772. As the same are more particularly delineated on
the plan marked P.W.D. 60644, deposited in the office of the
Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged
green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 25th day of Sep-
tember, 1924.
