Notice respecting Proposed Alteration of Boundaries, Ohura Town District.

Wellington, 16th September, 1924.
IT is hereby notified that a petition has been presented to His Excellency the Governor-General under the Town Boards Act, 1908, praying that the area described in the Schedule hereto may be excluded from the Ohura Town District. All persons affected are hereby called upon to lodge any written objections to or petitions against the proposed alteration which they desire to lodge within one month from the first publication of this notice, such objections or petitions to be addressed to the Minister of Internal Affairs, Wellington.
SCHEDULE.
AREA PROPOSED TO BE EXCLUDED FROM OHURA TOWN DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Taranaki Land District bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of the western boundary of Block VI, Ohura Survey District, and the southern side of Ohura-Matiere Road, and proceeding in a north-easterly direction along that road to its intersection with the boundary of the Ohura Town District, as described in New Zealand Gazette, 1918, page 305; thence south-easterly along that boundary to the northern side of Huia Road; thence westerly generally and north-westerly along the last named road to the western boundary of Block VI aforesaid; thence northerly along the last named boundary to the point of commencement.

Notice of Vesting of Land in the Public Trustee under the Public Trust Office Act, 1908, Part II, Unclaimed Lands.
WHEREAS I, the undersigned, the Public Trustee, have, for the purposes of Part II of the Public Trust Office Act, 1908 (relating to unclaimed lands), made due inquiries with respect to the land described in the Schedule hereunder, and the whereabouts of the owner thereof, and have, in respect of the said land, given the notices prescribed by section 66 of that Act, and have in all respects complied with the provisions of that Act pertinent hereto:
And whereas I have not thereby ascertained the whereabouts of the owner, and believe that such owner or an agent of such owner is not in the Dominion, nor has such owner established his title to the said land as required by the said Act:
I hereby give notice that the said land is, under and by virtue of the said Act, vested in the Public Trustee as aforesaid, as from the date of the publication hereof, and will be administered under the Public Trust Office Act, 1908; the value of the land for the purposes of section 67 (d) of the said Act being less than £500.

ALL that piece or parcel of land situate in the Provincial District of Taranaki, containing by admeasurement 2 roods 18 perches, more or less, being Subdivisions 137 and 138 of Section 62, Hua and Waiwakaiho, Block III, Egmont Survey District. Bounded on the north by Subdivision 136, on the west by Boswith Street, and on the south by Junction Road; and being part of the land contained in certificate of title Volume 1, folio 43, Taranaki Registry, vested in His Majesty the King by virtue of the Abolition of Provinces Act, 1875; and held by the registered proprietor on behalf of Charles Gordon Ralph Gore, of New Plymouth, Clerk, under and by virtue of the Special Powers and Contracts Act, 1885.

THE following claim for registration of school colours is gazetted in accordance with regulations published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 12th August, 1915.
Any objection to the claim set forth must be addressed to "The Registration Officer for School Colours, &c., Education Department, Wellington," and must be delivered at that address within forty days of the publication hereof.

Incorporated Societies Act, 1908.--Declaration by the Assistant Registrar dissolving a Society.
I, WILLIAM GREER FLETCHER, Assistant Registrar of Incorporated Societies, do hereby declare that, as it has been made to appear to me that the Hamilton Taxi-owners Association (Incorporated) is no longer carrying on its operations, the aforesaid society is hereby dissolved in pursuance of section 28 of the Incorporated Societies Act, 1908.

COOK ISLANDS.-MANGAIA.

Wellington, N.Z., 13th September, 1924.
Occasional Light for Shipping.
INFORMATION is hereby given that a white light, height 75 ft., will be shown from the wireless mast at Mangaia when vessels are expected, or when lying at the port.
The light is a lantern of the ship's mast-head type, burning kerosene, and will be placed at a height of 25 ft. above the ground.
