RESOLUTION LEVYING SPECIAL RATE OF TWOPENCE IN THE POUND TO SECURE SEALY ROAD SPECIAL LOAN.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, the Taranaki County Council hereby resolves as follows :-
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £300, authorized to be raised by the Taranaki County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of forming and metalling the Sealy Road, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of twopence in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Sealy Road Special-rating District, being Sections part 44, part 44, Section 34, part 39, part 61, Sections 62, 70, part 61, part 44, Sub. 1 of part 47, part 60, Block 8, Paritutu Survey District : and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half (36½ years), or until the loan is fully paid off.

PALMERSTON NORTH BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.-HOUSING LOAN (1924), £10,000.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, and the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, the Palmerston North Borough Council hereby resolves as follows :-
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £10,000 authorized to be raised by the Palmerston North Borough Council under the above-mentioned Acts for the purposes, either within the borough or adjacent thereto, of erecting for occupation by workers employed or resident in the borough on any land now or hereafter purchased; acquired, or appropriated by the Council, for that purpose, any buildings suitable for workers' dwellings, and of purchasing or otherwise acquiring any buildings with or without lands for such purpose, and of converting any buildings into workers' dwellings, and of altering, enlarging, repairing, and improving the same respectively, the said Palmerston North Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-thirteenth of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the Borough of Palmerston North, comprising the whole of the Borough of Palmerston North ; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

WAIKOHU COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING A SPECIAL RATE.-TAUMATA No. III LOAN.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, the Waikohu County Council hereby resolves as follows :-
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £300 authorized to be raised by the Waikohu County Council under the above-mentioned Act for forming Taumata Road, the said Waikohu County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-twelfth (1/12th d.) of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Taumata No. III Special-rating Area, comprising part Lot 2, Wharekopae 1A ; part Sub. 2, Tahora 2c 1, Section 3 ; Lots 1 and 2, Hangaroa-Matawai B 4 ; small Grazing-runs 76, 30, and 77 ; Hangaroa-Matawai B 3 ;
