NOTICE is hereby given that the leases and licenses of the undermentioned sections having been declared forfeited by resolution of the Taranaki Land Board, the said lands have thereby reverted to the Crown under the provisions of the Land Act, 1908, and the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, and amendments.

Land in Auckland Land District for Sale by Public Auction.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned land will be offered for sale by public auction, for cash or on deferred payments, at the King's Theatre, Rotorua, at 10.30 o'clock a.m. on Thursday, the 21st day of February, 1924, under the provisions of the Land Act, 1908, and amendments.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—SECOND-CLASS LAND.
Rotorua County.—Tarawera Survey District.
SECTION 3, Block II: Area, 173 acres; upset price, £260.
This section is situated about four miles from Rotorua, and has a good frontage to the Wairoa Road. Undulating to hilly country, with light sandy soil covered with a growth of fern and tutu, with a few small patches of native bush.
TERMS OF SALE.
The purchaser may pay for the land in cash or by deferred payments extending over a period of nineteen years. The terms are--
(1.) Cash.--One-fifth of the purchase-money on the fall of the hammer, and the balance, with Crown grant fee (£1), within thirty days thereafter.
(2.) Deferred Payments.--5 per cent. of the purchase-money and license fee (£1 1s.) on the fall of hammer; balance by equal annual instalments extending over nineteen years; interest payable half-yearly at the rate of 5 per cent. per annum on the unpaid purchase-money, but with the right to pay off at any time the whole or any part of the outstanding amount.
In either case, if the purchaser fails to make any of the prescribed payments by due date, whether of purchase-money or interest, the amount already paid shall be forfeited, and the contract for the sale of the land be null and void.
Title will be subject to Part XIII of the Land Act, 1908. Full particulars may be obtained at this office.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned land will be offered for sale, for cash, by public auction at the District Lands and Survey Office, New Plymouth, at 10.30 o'clock a.m. on Wednesday, 5th March, 1924, under the provisions of the Land Act, 1908, and amendments.

TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT.—TOWN LAND.
Egmont County.—Opunake Survey District.
SUBDIVISION 4 of Section 123, Ngatihaupto Block: Area, 1 rood; upset price, £50.
Weighted with £10, valuation for improvements, comprising whare and hedges, which must be paid for in cash immediately on the fall of the hammer.
Situated in the Township of Rahotu, on the main road. Land is of first-class quality, all flat. Building is old and dilapidated, although it has a good iron roof.
TERMS OF SALE.
One-fifth cash on fall of hammer, and balance, with Crown-grant fee (£1), within thirty days thereafter, otherwise the deposit aforesaid will be forfeited, and the contract for the sale of the land be null and void.
Title will be subject to Part XIII of the Land Act, 1908. Full particulars may be obtained at this office.
