Extending Prohibition of Alienation of certain Native Land other than Alienation in favour of the Crown.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 30th day of June, 1924.
Present :
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council. ON the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase Board, referred to in section three hundred and sixty-three of the Native Land Act, 1909, and in exercise of the power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section and by section one hundred and eleven of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913 (as amended by section eight of the Native Land Amendment and Native Land Claims Adjustment Act, 1916), His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby extend for a further period of two years the Order in Council dated the thirtieth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-three, and gazetted the second day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-three, prohibiting all alienation of the land specified in the Schedule hereto, other than alienation in favour of the Crown.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 26th day of May, 1924.

The Right Honourable W. F. MASSEY, P.C., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
ON the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase Board, referred to in section three hundred and sixty-three of the Native Land Act, 1909, and in exercise of the power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby prohibit, for the period of one year from the date of this Order
in Council, all alienation of the Native land specified in the Schedule hereto other than alienation in favour of the Crown.
SCHEDULE.
All that piece or parcel of land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 217, folio 33, containing 161 acres 3 roods 30 perches, and being part of Te Akau D 14 Block.

Revocation of Regulation under Midwives Act, 1908.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 23rd day of June, 1924.
Present :
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council. WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the twenty-third day of June, 1914, and gazetted on the twenty-fifth day of the same month, regulations were made, inter alia, fixing the fees to be paid under the Midwives Act, 1908, and whereas it is considered desirable to revoke regulation Number thirteen thereof : Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the Midwives Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the aforesaid regulation Number thirteen.

The North-eastern Side of Portion of English Avenue, the Western Side of Portion of Elgin Road, and the Southern Side of Portion of Bowler Avenue, in the City of Dunedin, exempted from the Provisions of Section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1908, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 30th day of June, 1924.
Present :
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council. IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in any-wise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Dunedin City Council on the seventh day of May, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four, viz :— “That the Council of the City of Dunedin hereby resolves that the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to the following portions of the undermentioned streets in the City of Dunedin, viz : (1) Portion of the north-eastern side of English Avenue where the same abuts on part of Section 75, Block VI, Town District, Dunedin ; (2) portion of the western side of Elgin Road where the same abuts on part of Section 75, Block VI, Town District, Dunedin ; (3) portion of the southern side of Bowler Avenue where the same abuts on part of Section 75, Block VI, Town District, Dunedin. As the said portions of the said English Avenue, Elgin Road, and Bowler Avenue respectively are more particularly shown by brown colour on the plan hereunto annexed” ; subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the north-eastern side of the portion of English Avenue, the western side of the portion of Elgin Road, and the southern side of the portion of Bowler Avenue (described in the Schedule hereto), within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-lines of the said portions of streets.
