  1. The works hereby authorized shall be constructed so as to comply with the regulations made under section 2 of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1911, dated the 9th day of October, 1922, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 12th day of the same month, or any regulations made in amendment thereof or in substitution therefor, which regulations shall be deemed to be incorporated herein.

  2. The Board shall substantially complete the works hereby authorized within a period of three years from the date of this license, or within such further time as the Minister may allow in the event of the work being delayed by strikes, lock-outs, breakdowns, or other unavoidable causes not due to any neglect by the Board.

Authorizing the Exchange of a Reserve in the Town of Redwoodtown, Subdivision No. 3, Marlborough Land District, for other Land.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 30th day of June, 1924.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land described in the First Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for public utility: And whereas it is expedient that the said land should be exchanged for the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, which the Governor-General deems of equal value and more suitable for the purposes of the reserve:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section twelve of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, doth hereby declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto may be exchanged for the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.


FIRST SCHEDULE.

DESCRIPTION OF RESERVE AUTHORIZED TO BE EXCHANGED.

ALL that area in the Marlborough Land District, containing by admeasurement an area of 39 perches, being Section 11 on the plan of Town of Redwoodtown Subdivision No. 3, deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Blenheim, as No. 1384. Bounded as follows—Towards the north by Section 10 of the said town, 250·9 links; towards the east by Brian Bary Street, 97·1 links; towards the south by Section 12 of the said town, 250·9 links; and towards the west by Lot 8 on the plan deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar, Blenheim, as No. 490, 97·1 links: be all the aforesaid measurements a little more or less.


SECOND SCHEDULE.

DESCRIPTION OF LAND TO BE OBTAINED IN EXCHANGE THEREFOR.

ALL that area in the Marlborough Land District, containing by admeasurement an area of 39 perches, being Section 18 on the plan of the Town of Redwoodtown Subdivision No. 3, deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Blenheim, as No. 1384. Bounded as follows—Towards the north by Section 17 of the said town, 250·9 links: towards the east by Lot 34 on the plan deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar, Blenheim, as No. 17, 97·1 links; towards the south by Sections 19, 20, and 21 of the said town, 250·9 links; and towards the east by Brian Bary Street, 97·1 links: be all the aforesaid measurements a little more or less.

Consenting to Stopping Portion of Road in Block VI, Norsewood Survey District, Dannevirke County.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 30th day of June, 1924.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the Dannevirke County Council stopping the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto.


SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road permitted to be stopped: 2 acres 2 roods 30 perches.

Adjoining or passing through Section 15, Block VI, Norsewood Survey District (Hawke’s Bay R.D.). (S.O. 144, green.)

In the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 59239, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured green.

Declaring Portion of Field’s Track to Rangiwaea Road, in the Wanganui County, to be a County Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 30th day of June, 1924.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.


SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of road in the Wellington Land District, Wanganui County, known as Field’s Track to Rangiwaea Road, commencing at a point in Parapara 2b 2E Block, Block X, Ngamatea Survey District, being 53 chains north-east of its junction with Wanganui-Raetihi Road, and proceeding thence generally in an easterly direction, adjoining or passing through part Parapara 2b 2E, Parapara 2b 2F, 2b 2G, 2b 2H, and 2b 2I Blocks, Block X, Ngamatea Survey District, and terminating at a point 11 chains west of the boundary between Parapara 2b 2I Block, Block X, Ngamatea Survey District, and Parapara 2b 2J Block, Block XI, Ngamatea Survey District: being a total distance of 2 miles 18 chains, more or less. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 59862, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured blue.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto, shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a Government road.


SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the portion of road declared to be a Government road: 2 roods 10·5 perches.

Adjoining or passing through Raketapauma lp 2, situated in Block VII, Maungakaretu Survey District. (S.O. 1755.)
