HIS Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to approve of the appointments, promotions, resignations, and transfers of the undermentioned officers of the N.Z. Territorial Force.
6th N.Z. Mounted Rifles (Manawatu).
Lieutenant-Colonel E. J. Hulbert, D.S.O., is temporarily attached for duty with the 1st N.Z. Mounted Rifles (Canterbury Yeomanry Cavalry). Dated 27th May, 1924.
8th N.Z. Mounted Rifles (Nelson).
Lieutenant-Colonel H. H. Allison is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, Class II (b), R.D. 9. Dated 23rd May, 1924.
The Regiment of N.Z. Artillery.
Major F. H. Lampen, D.S.O., from the Reserve of Officers, to be Major (14th Battery). Dated 23rd May, 1924.
Major C. D. Hill (13th Battery) is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, Class II (b), R.D. 1. Dated 19th May, 1924.
2nd Lieutenant R. R. Binney to be Lieutenant (11th Battery). Dated 20th May, 1924.
2nd Lieutenant W. A. Gow to be Lieutenant (11th Battery). Dated 20th May, 1924.
Claude Percival Harper to be 2nd Lieutenant (on probation), (3rd Battery). Dated 7th May, 1924.
George Keith Storey to be 2nd Lieutenant (on probation), (4th Battery). Dated 9th May, 1924.

Wilfred Nelson Verry to be 2nd Lieutenant (1st “C” Battalion). Dated 23rd May, 1924.

Major D. A. McCurdy, M.B.E. (3rd “C” Battalion), is transferred to the Otago Regiment (2nd “C” Battalion). Dated 28th May, 1924.
2nd Lieutenant C. B. Lewis, from the Hawke’s Bay Regiment (1st “C” Battalion), to be 2nd Lieutenant (1st Battalion), with seniority as from the 24th August, 1923.
2nd Lieutenant E. P. Wills, from the Nelson, Marlborough, and West Coast Regiment, to be 2nd Lieutenant (1st Battalion), with seniority as from the 19th November, 1923.
Lieutenant I. W. B. Roy (1st Battalion) is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, Class I (b), R.D. 5. Dated 29th May, 1924.

2nd Lieutenant A. A. Cooper, from the Otago Regiment (1st Battalion), to be 2nd Lieutenant (1st Battalion), with seniority as from the 28th February, 1923.

The notice published in the N.Z. Gazette, No. 87 of 20th December, 1923, relating to Captain (temp. Major) A. N. McKelvey relinquishing the temporary rank of Major, is hereby cancelled.
Reserve of Officers.
Lieutenant E. Haydon retires under the provisions of General Order 184/21 with permission to retain his rank and wear the prescribed uniform. Dated 22nd May, 1924.
