HOBSON COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Hobson County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Hobson County Council Kaihu Valley Drainage Loan of £5,000, 1923, and the Hobson County Kaihu Valley Drainage Loan of £1,000, 1923, being parts of a loan of £6,000, authorized to be raised by the Hobson County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of carrying out drainage-works in the Kaihu Drainage District, the said Council, pursuant to section 22 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, hereby increases to two (2) pence and five-eighths (5/8ths) of a penny in the pound sterling on all lands Class A, to one (1) penny and five-sixteenths (5/16ths) of a penny in the pound sterling on all lands Class B, and to five-eights (⅝ths) of a penny in the pound sterling on all lands Class C on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property so classified in the Kaihu Valley Drainage District, the differential special rate of two (2) pence farthing (2¼d.) in the pound sterling on all lands Class A, of one (1) penny and one-eighth (⅛th) of a penny on all lands Class B, and nine-sixteenths (9/16ths) of a penny in the pound sterling on all lands in Class C, made and levied by resolution passed by the said Council on the 18th day of January, 1923, and gazetted in the New Zealand Gazette on the 8th day of February, 1923, at page 387, in connection with the Hobson County Council Kaihu Valley Drainage Loan of £5,000, 1923, being part of the loan of £6,000 already referred to, the original rate made and levied being insufficient to provide for payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the total loan of six thousand pounds (£6,000); and that such differential special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the first day of June in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half (36½) years or until the loan is fully paid off.

PAHIATUA COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Pahiatua County Council resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £400 authorized to be raised by the Pahiatua County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing land, dwelling, and outbuildings at Makomako, the Pahiatua County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one two-hundred-and-thirty-sixths of a penny in the pound upon the rateable property of the County of Pahiatua; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

KAIKOURA COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Kaikoura County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,250, authorized to be raised by the Kaikoura County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing amount required by the Council for the formation of the Puhipuhi East Road and fencing on account thereof, the said County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-fifth of a penny (1/5d.) in the pound sterling upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property of the special-rating area, being all that area within the Clarence Riding of the County of Kaikoura, comprising Sections 2, 3, 12, and 13, Block II, Mount Fyffe Survey District, Sections 2, 4A, 5A, 7, and 102A, Block XV, Kaitarau Survey District; Small Grazing-runs 102B, and 102C, Block XV, Kaitarau Survey District; Section 1, Block XII, Kaitarau Survey District; Small Grazing-run 103, Block XI, XII, XV, and XVI, Kaitarau Survey District; Small Grazing-run 104, Blocks XI and XII, Kaitarau Survey District; Small Grazing-run 105A, Blocks VII, VIII, XI, and XII, Kaitarau Survey District; Small Grazing-run 105B, Blocks VII, VIII, and XII, Kaitarau Survey District; Sections 8 and 8A, Block XVI, Kaitarau Survey District; Sections 4 and 5, Block III, Mount Fyffe Survey District; and the whole of that part of Section 14, Block 11, Mount Fyffe Survey District, fronting on the proposed new road (occupied by Mr. Jas. Doyle): and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

WANGANUI COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION LEVYING A SPECIAL RATE OF 1/64TH OF A PENNY IN THE POUND AS SECURITY FOR THE KAUANGAROA BRIDGE LOAN OF £2,500.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Wanganui County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £2,500 authorized to be raised by the Wanganui County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of paying the Wanganui County Council’s share of the cost of construction of the bridge to be built by the Rangitikei County Council over the Wangaehu River at Kauangaroa, such bridge being known as the Kauangaroa Bridge, the said Wanganui County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one sixty-fourth of a penny in the pound sterling upon the rateable value of all rateable property within the County of Wanganui, such rate to be levied on the basis of the capital value; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the first day of March and the first day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.

TAURANGA COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Tauranga County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Tauranga County Kaimai Special-rating Area Loan of £2,000, 1924, authorized to be raised by the Tauranga County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of widening, regrading, culverting, and metalling unmetalled portions of the Tauranga-Cambridge Road, situated between the Ruahihi Bridge and the southern boundary of the County of Tauranga, all within the boundaries of the Kaimai Special-rating Area of the County of Tauranga, bounded, commencing on the western boundary of the County of Tauranga at Trigonometrical Station Waianuanu No. 909, on the north generally by the northern boundary of Maungatotara No. 1A to the Ngamuawahine Stream; thence by the said Ngamuawahine Stream to the north-western boundary of the provisional State forest reserve; thence by the north-western and north-eastern boundaries of the said provisional State forest reserve to the westernmost corner of Poripori No. 1; thence by the north-western boundaries of the said Poripori No. 1 to the Wairoa River; thence on the east, south-west, and west generally by the eastern, south-western, and western boundaries of the Te Puna Riding of the County of Tauranga, to the point of commencement; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
