TAURANGA COUNTY COUNCIL.
Result of Poll.
Pursuant to section 12 of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, I hereby give notice that a poll of ratepayers of the Te Puna Special-rating Area of Tauranga County was taken on the 20th day of December, 1923, on the proposal of the Tauranga County Council to borrow the sum of £4,000 for the purpose of construction of roads within the Te Puna Special-rating Area.
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 42, and the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 6; informal, 2.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

Pursuant to section 12 of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Borough of Dannevirke, taken on the 28th day of November, 1923, on the proposal of the Dannevirke Borough Council to borrow fifteen thousand pounds (£15,000) for the purpose of enabling the said Council to construct and finish with a bituminous sealing Stanley Street, High Street (from the Mangapurupuru Drain to Alexandra Street, full width, and the remainder of the street to Mangatera not less than 21 ft. in width), Queen Street (from Stairs Street Railway-crossing to Victoria Avenue Railway-crossing inclusive), Gordon Street and Allardice Street (from Railway boundary to Denmark Street), Grey Street, Miller's Road (from High Street to Denmark Street), Denmark Street (from Miller’s Road to Allardice Street, not less than 21 ft. in width),—
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 231; the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 51; informal, 5.
I therefore declare the proposal carried.

Pursuant to section 12 of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Borough of Ngaruawahia, taken on the 13th day of December, 1923, on the proposal of the Ngaruawahia Borough Council to borrow the sum of £9,000 for the erection of a Town Hall, municipal offices, and shops, the number of votes recorded for the proposal was 121, and the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 52.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.
