Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the Wairoa County Council stopping the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road permitted to be stopped: 7 acres.
Adjoining or passing through Section 1, situated in Block IX, Taramarama Survey District (Poverty Bay R.D.). (S.O. 1001, brown.)
In the Gisborne Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 58263, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured green.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

William Thomas Fowler, and
Frank Edward George Ward
to be the Hillersden Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Friday, the twenty-fifth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four, at half past seven o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Wairau Valley Hall, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

Extending Operation of Heavy Traffic By-laws, Taihape Borough Council.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 14th day of January, 1924.
Present:
THE HONOURABLE SIR FRANCIS BELL PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS it is provided by section three hundred and fifty-five of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), that the Governor-General may, by Order in Council made on the application of any Council, direct that heavy-traffic licenses granted under by-laws made pursuant to the provisions of paragraph nine of section three hundred and fifty-four of the said Act, or the corresponding provisions of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, shall extend and be available within the district of every local authority any part of which is within five miles of any part of the boundary of the city or borough:
And whereas the Taihape Borough Council has made application for the issue of an Order in Council under the said section three hundred and fifty-five, and it is desirable to issue the said Order in Council:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by section three hundred and fifty-five of the said Act, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby direct that heavy-traffic licenses granted by the Taihape Borough Council under by-laws made pursuant to the provisions of paragraph nine of section three hundred and fifty-four of the said Act or the corresponding provisions of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, shall extend and be available within the district of every local authority any part of which is within five miles of any part of the boundary of the Borough of Taihape.
