Notifying Lands in Auckland Land District for Sale by Public Auction for Cash or on Deferred Payments.

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section one hundred and twenty-six of the Land Act, 1908, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Monday, the seventh day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four, as the time at which the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by public auction for cash or on deferred payments; and I hereby fix the prices at which the said lands shall be sold as those mentioned in the said Schedule hereto.

Situated about three miles and a quarter west of Ngaruawahia. Steep rough country; about ten acres in bush, balance fern.

Appointing an Acting-member of the Main Highways Board.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section five, subsection five, of the Main Highways Act, 1922, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint

John Snell Connett, Esquire,

of New Plymouth, farmer, to be an acting member of the Main Highways Board to act during the absence from New Zealand of Albert Edward Jull, Esquire, of Waipawa, Brewer, who was appointed in terms of subsection three clause (c) of the said section five, to be a member of the said Board by Warrant dated the twelfth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-three, and gazetted on the fourteenth day of the same month.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 21st day of May, 1924.
