And whereas the said A.B. has also applied for the inclusion, in accordance with subsection (1) of section 8 of the said Act, of the names of certain of his [her] children born before the date when this certificate takes effect and being minors, and I am satisfied that the names of his [her] children, as hereinafter set out, may properly be included :
Now, therefore, in pursuance of the powers conferred on me by the said Act, I grant to the said A. B. this certificate of naturalization, and declare that he [she] shall, subject to the provisions of the said Act, be entitled in New Zealand to all political and other rights, powers, and privileges, and be subject to all obligations, duties, and liabilities to which a natural-born British subject is entitled or subjected, and shall have in New Zealand to all intents and purposes the status of a natural-born British subject.
And I further declare that this certificate extends to the following children, born before the date when this certificate takes effect and being minors, of the said A. B. :

- A special certificate of naturalization granted in New Zealand under section 7 of the said Act to a person with respect to whose nationality as a British subject a doubt exists, shall be in the following form :—
British Nationality and Status of Aliens (in New Zealand) Act, 1923.
SPECIAL CERTIFICATE OF NATURALIZATION GRANTED TO A PERSON WITH RESPECT TO WHOSE NATIONALITY AS A BRITISH SUBJECT A DOUBT EXISTS.
WHEREAS A. B., of __, in the Dominion of New Zealand, __, with respect to whose nationality as a British subject a doubt exists, has applied for such a special certificate of naturalization as is provided for by section 7 of the above-mentioned Act, alleging that he [she] was born at __ on the __ day of __, in the year __:
And whereas I am satisfied that such a certificate may properly be granted :
Now, therefore, in pursuance of the powers conferred on me by the said Act, and for the purpose of quieting doubts as to the right of the said A. B. to be a British subject in New Zealand, I grant to the said A. B. this special certificate of naturalization, and declare that he [she] shall, subject to the provisions of the said Act, be entitled in New Zealand to all political and other rights, powers, and privileges, and be subject to all obligations, duties, and liabilities, to which a natural-born British subject is entitled or subjected, and shall have in New Zealand to all intents and purposes the status of a natural-born British subject.

- A certificate of naturalization granted in New Zealand to a minor under subsection (2) of section 8 of the said Act shall be in the following form :—
British Nationality and Status of Aliens (in New Zealand) Act, 1923.
CERTIFICATE OF NATURALIZATION GRANTED TO A MINOR.
WHEREAS an application has been made for the grant of a certificate of naturalization to A.B., of __, in the Dominion of New Zealand, alleging that the said A. B. was born at __ on the __ day of __, in the year 19____:
And whereas I am satisfied that such a certificate may properly be granted :
Now, therefore, in pursuance of the powers conferred on me by the said Act, I grant to the said A. B. this certificate of naturalization, and declare that he [she] shall, subject to the provisions of the said Act, be entitled in New Zealand to all political and other rights, powers, and privileges, and be subject to all obligations, duties, and liabilities, to which a natural-born British subject is entitled or subjected, and shall have in New Zealand to all intents and purposes the status of a natural-born British subject.

- (1.) A certificate of naturalization granted in New Zealand under section 9 of the said Act to a person who was naturalized in New Zealand before the passing of the said Act shall be in the following form :—
British Nationality and Status of Aliens (in New Zealand) Act, 1923.
CERTIFICATE OF NATURALIZATION GRANTED TO A PERSON WHO WAS NATURALIZED IN NEW ZEALAND BEFORE THE PASSING OF THE ABOVE-MENTIONED ACT.
WHEREAS A. B., of __, in the Dominion of New Zealand, __, who was naturalized in New Zealand before the passing of the above-mentioned Act—viz., on the __ day of __ in the year __, has applied for a certificate of naturalization under the said Act, alleging that he [she] was born at __ on the __ day of __ in the year __:
And whereas I am satisfied that such a certificate may properly be granted :
Now, therefore, in pursuance of the powers conferred on me by the said Act, I grant to the said A. B. this certificate of naturalization, and declare that he [she] shall, subject to the provisions of the said Act, be entitled in New Zealand to all political and other rights, powers, and privileges, and be subject to all obligations, duties, and liabilities, to which a natural-born British subject is entitled or subjected, and shall have in New Zealand to all intents and purposes the status of a natural-born British subject.

(2.) Where the names of children are to be included paragraphs corresponding to the second and fourth paragraphs of Form (B) prescribed by Regulation 2 shall be inserted in the certificate.
- A declaration of alienage under subsection (1) of section 8 or under section 12 of the said Act shall be in the following form, according to the circumstances :—
British Nationality and Status of Aliens (in New Zealand) Act, 1923.
DECLARATION OF ALIENAGE.
I, A. B., of __, being the son [daughter] of an alien to whom a certificate of naturalization has been granted, in which certificate of naturalization, in accordance with subsection (1) of section 8 of the above-mentioned Act, my name was included, and having attained my majority within one year before the present date [or, being the wife of A. B., a person whose certificate of naturalization has been revoked within six months before the present date, and being also the mother of the following minor children of the marriage of the said A. B., and myself—namely, __], do hereby renounce my nationality as a British subject.

Every certificate of naturalization granted in New Zealand shall be registered by enrolling a duplicate thereof in a register to be kept in the Department of Internal Affairs at Wellington.

(1.) Every declaration of alienage made under subsection (1) of section 8 or under section 12 of the said Act shall be registered in the Department of Internal Affairs at Wellington.
(2.) Every such declaration of alienage shall be made before a Magistrate or a Justice of the Peace.
