value (upon the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Eastport, Mellin's, and Wiseman's Roads Special-rating area, comprising all that area in the Land District of Auckland being bounded as follows—Commencing at a point where the Waitoa and Ohinemuri Stream meet, being the most northerly corner of Section 18, Waitoa estate ; thence following the Waitoa River in an easterly and south-easterly direction to the old boundary between the Ohinemuri and Piako Counties, being a point on the river about 5 chains to the south-east of the eastern corner of Section 13, Waitoa Estate; thence due west through Sections 12, 13, 14, 23, 22, and 21 of the Ohine Stream; thence in a northerly direction following the Ohinemuri Stream to the point of commencement; and that such rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and one-half years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

NOTICE UNDER THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT, 1908.
N OTICE is hereby given that THE EDUCATION BOARD OF THE DISTRICT OF AUCKLAND intends to take under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of a public school, the following land, namely :— All that piece of land situated in the Provincial District of Auckland, containing two roods and eleven and sixty-five hundredths perches, more or less, being portion of Allotment eleven, Section ten, Suburbs of Auckland, and being part of the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 87, folio 104, of the Register-book in the Land Transfer Office at Auckland. A plan of the said land is deposited in the office of the Mount Albert Borough Council at Morningside, and is there open for inspection by all persons at all reasonable hours. All persons affected are hereby required and called upon to set forth in writing any well grounded objections to the taking of such land, and to send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Education Board of the District of Auckland, at its office in Williamson's Chambers, Shortland Street, Auckland, New Zealand. NOTICE OF DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us, the undersigned, HENRY FREDERICK MOSS, of Wellington, Manufacturers' Agent, and LENNOX SAMUEL GIBSON, of Wellington, Manufacturers' Agent, carrying on business as Manufacturers' and Commission Agents, Mercantile Brokers, and Machinery Merchants, at Wellington, under the style or firm of " Moss and Co.," has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 31st day of October, 1923. All debts due to and owing by the said late firm will be received and paid respectively by the said HENRY FREDERICK MOSS, who will continue to carry on the said business under the style of " Moss and Co.," at Cable Street, Wellington.
