NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership lately subsisting between us, the undersigned, JOSEPH ARMSTRONG JORDAN and WILLIAM THOMAS HENAGHAN, carrying on the profession, practice, or business of Dentists at Dunedin, under the style of "The London Dental Parlours," has this day been dissolved by mutual consent. All debts due to or owing by the said late firm will be received and paid by the said William Thomas Henaghan, who will continue the said profession, practice, or business under the present style.

NOTICE OF SPECIAL RESOLUTION TO WIND UP.
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the matter of PACIFIC PRESERVING COMPANY (LIMITED).
An extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company duly convened and held at the registered office of the company, at Dunedin, on the 14th day of January, 1924, the subjoined resolution was duly passed, and at a subsequent extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company duly convened and held at the registered office of the company, at Dunedin, on the 30th day of January, 1924, such resolution was duly confirmed as a special resolution.
RESOLUTION.
That, having regard to the provisional agreement of the 5th day of December, 1923, entered into by this company with ROBERT SLOAN BROWN, as trustee for a company to be formed and incorporated under the same name as this company, for the sale to such intended company of the property and assets and undertaking of this company, which agreement was ratified by a general meeting of this company held on the 17th day of December, 1923, and accordingly that this company be wound up voluntarily, and that WILLIAM BURGOYNE TAVERNER, of Dunedin, Accountant, and ROBERT JOHN RUNCIMAN, of Dunedin, Company Manager, be and they are hereby appointed Liquidators for the purposes of such winding-up.

CHRISTCHURCH DRAINAGE BOARD.
DEFINITION AND CREATION OF A SPECIAL AREA.
In the matter of the Christchurch District Drainage Amendment Act, 1922.
NOTICE is hereby given that the following resolution of the Christchurch Drainage Board was passed at a meeting of the Board duly convened and held on the 18th day of September, 1923:
That whereas the Christchurch Drainage Board proposes to deepen and generally improve a drain known as Horner's Drain in the subdistrict of Rural Avon, which in the opinion of the Board will not benefit directly or indirectly the whole of such subdistrict, the said Board doth hereby, by virtue of the powers and authorities conferred upon it by the Christchurch District Drainage Amendment Act, 1922,
define and create as a special area all that area of land described in the Schedule hereto, comprising the lands which in the opinion of the Board, will be benefited by such works.
SCHEDULE.
