across that reserve to the southernmost corner of part Section
17, as shown in Deeds Register 64, folio 56, in the office of
District Land Registrar at New Plymouth; thence north-
westerly generally by the south-western boundaries of that
section to the easternmost corner of Subdivision 13 of
Section 17, as shown on Plan No. 2200 deposited in the
office of the said District Land Registrar; thence southerly
generally by the eastern boundaries of said Subdivision 13
to the northern side of Mawhitiwhiti Road; thence north-
westerly by that road to a point in the production of the
western boundary of Lot 7, plan No. 2542, deposited as
aforesaid; thence south-westerly to and by that boundary
to the westernmost corner of said Lot 7; thence south-easterly
by the south-western boundary of said Lot 7 and Lots 8, 9,
10, 11, as shown on said plan No. 2542 to the north-western
side of Gore Street; thence south-westerly by that street
to the south-western side of Hunter Street; thence south-
easterly by said Hunter Street to Subdivision 18 of Sections 26
and 27 as shown on plan No. 2542 deposited as aforesaid;
thence south-westerly by the north-western boundaries of
said Subdivision 18 and of Subdivision 19 of Section 27 as
shown on said plan No. 2542 to the westernmost corner of
said Subdivision 19; thence south-easterly by the south-
western boundary of said Subdivision 19 to the north-western
side of Ketemarae Street; thence south-westerly by said
Ketemarae Street to the north-western side of Ohangai
Street; thence north-westerly by said Ohangai Street to
original Section 25, Block I aforesaid; thence north-easterly
by the south-eastern boundary of said Section 25 to Mawhiti-
whiti Road; thence across that road to its north-eastern side
by the production of the last-mentioned boundary; thence

Notice of Intention to take Land in Blocks III, VI, and VII,
Waimana Survey District, for the Purposes of a Road.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the
provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, to execute
a certain public work—to wit, the construction of a road in
Blocks III, VI, and VII, Waimana Survey District; and for
the purposes of such public work the land described in the
Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is
hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to
be taken is deposited in the post-office at Ruatoki, and is
there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by
the execution of the said public work or by the taking
of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded
objections to the execution of the said public work or to the
taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send
such writing, within forty days from the first publication of
this notice, to the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land required to be
taken : 19 acres 0 roods 24 perches.

Portion of Waimana No. Ic No. 2, situated in Blocks III,
VI, and VII, Waimana Survey District. (S.O. 22882.)

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 59076,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon
coloured red.

As witness my hand, at Wellington, this 29th day of

Notice of Intention to take Land for Stock-resting Reserves in
Blocks VII, VIII, and XI, Whernside Survey District.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the
provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, to take
the land described in the Schedule hereto for stock-resting
reserves. And notice is hereby further given that the plan
of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post-
office at Kekerangu, and is there open for inspection; and
that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should,
if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking of
such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such
writing, within forty days from the first publication of this
notice, to the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.

THE following special order, made by the Mount Albert
Borough Council is published, in accordance with
clause 2 of the Noxious Weeds Amendment Act, 1910.

SPECIAL ORDER.

In exercise of the powers conferred on it by the Noxious
Weeds Act, 1908, the Mount Albert Borough Council hereby
resolves and declares by way of special order, that the plant
mentioned in the Schedule hereto (being a plant included in
the Third Schedule to the said Act as extended from time to
time by the Governor-General in Council) is a noxious weed
within the Borough of Mount Albert.
