REGULATION.

140. OFFICERS of the Public Service must at all times guard against being placed in such a position as may lay them open to the suspicion of being influenced, in the discharge of their duty, by other than purely public considerations. They are to be scrupulously careful in their relations with public-service contractors, their agents, or employees.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him by the Dairy-produce Export Control Act, 1923 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby make the following regulations for the purposes of the said Act.

REGULATIONS.

(1.) THE travelling-allowances, fees, or other remuneration of members of the Board shall be such as are from time to time determined by resolution of the Board.

(2.) Without limiting any authority conferred on the Board by the said Act, the Board shall have power, for the purpose of carrying on its business, to borrow moneys by way of bank overdraft or otherwise howsoever, and may give as security therefor debentures, mortgages, or other securities charged on any or all of the assets of the Board.
