ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 24th day of March, 1924.
Present:
THE HONOURABLE SIR FRANCIS BELL PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portions of roads described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become county roads.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of Aru Street, situated in the Township of Carnarvon, commencing at a point about 40 links south-east of the westernmost corner of Section 537, Block V, Te Kauwau Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a north-westerly direction, adjoining or passing through part Section 537 and Sections 536, 535, 534, and 533, Block V, Te Kauwau Survey District, and terminating at its junction with the north-western side of Uku Street, being a distance of 940 links, more or less.
Also all that portion of Uku Street, situated in the Township of Carnarvon, commencing at its junction with Aru Street and proceeding thence generally in a south-westerly direction, adjoining or passing through Sections 530 and 529, Block V, Te Kauwau Survey District, and terminating at its junction with the south-western side of Nuku Street, being a distance of 600 links, more or less.
Also all that portion of Nuku Street, situated in the Township of Carnarvon, commencing at its junction with Uku Street and proceeding thence generally in a north-westerly direction, adjoining or passing through Sections 547, 548, 549, 550, 551, 552, 553, 554, 555, 556, and 557, Block V, Te Kauwau Survey District, and terminating at its junction with the north-western side of Punga Street, being a distance of 2398 links, more or less.
Also all that portion of Punga Street, situated in the Township of Carnarvon, commencing at its junction with Nuku Street, and proceeding thence generally in a south-westerly direction, adjoining or passing through Sections 557 and 558, Block V, Te Kauwau Survey District, and terminating at its junction with the south-western side of Ripa Street, being a distance of 1514 links, more or less.
Also all that portion of Ripa Street, situated in the Town of Tangimoana, commencing at its junction with Punga Street, and proceeding thence generally in a north-westerly direction, adjoining or passing through Sections 83, 75, and 69, Block II, Sandy Survey District, and terminating at its junction with Kuku Street, being a distance of 679 links, more or less.
Also all that portion of Kuku Street, situated in the Town of Tangimoana, commencing at its junction with Ripa Street, and proceeding thence generally in a south-westerly direction, adjoining or passing through Sections 69, 68, 67, 66, 65, 64, 63, 62, 74, 21, 12, 42, 40, 38, and 37, Block II, Sandy Survey District, and terminating at its junction with West Square, being a distance of 1923 links, more or less.
In the Wellington Land District, Manawatu County. As the said roads are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 59154, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

ALL that road in the Auckland Land District, Otorohanga County, known as the Waimahora Valley Road, commencing at its junction with the Tauraroa Valley Road in Rangitoto A No. 45B 2E, Block XV, Mangaorongo Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a south-easterly direction, adjoining or passing through the said Rangitoto A No. 45B 2E, and Section 6, Crown land, Block XV, Mangaorongo Survey District, and terminating on the eastern boundary of the said Section 6, Crown land, being a distance of two miles, more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 59189, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red and marked A-B.
