SCHEDULE.

ALL that road in the Auckland Land District, Kawhia County, known as Lemon Point to Te Maika Road, commencing at its junction with the Lemon Point to Kinohaku Road at a point in Kinohaku West Block (on plan No. 6639), Block I, Kawhia South Survey District, and proceeding thence in a westerly direction generally through the said Kinohaku West Block; and thence along the southern boundaries of Sections 28 and 29, Block I, Kawhia South Survey District, and the north-western boundaries of Sections 23, 24, 25, and 26, Block I, Kawhia South Survey District; thence adjoining or passing through the north-westernmost corner of Section 27, Block I, Kawhia South Survey District, and Taharoa A 6d 4 Block, Block I, Kawhia South Survey District, and terminating at its junction with Te Maika Road at a point in the said Taharoa A 6d 4 Block, being a distance of 5 miles 51 chains, more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 59211, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red and marked A–B.

Declaring Mangakahika Road, in the Piako County, to be a County Road.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 24th day of March, 1924.

Present:

THE HONOURABLE SIR FRANCIS BELL PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that road in the Auckland Land District, Piako County, known as Mangakahika Road, commencing at a point in Section 1, Block XIV, Waitoa Survey District, at its junction with the Morrinsville–Tahuna Road, and proceeding thence generally in a westerly direction through the said Section 1, Blocks XIV and XIII, Waitoa Survey District; thence proceeding along the northern boundary of Sections 10 and part 9, Block XIII, Waitoa Survey District; and terminating at a point on the northern boundary of the said Section 9, about 7½ chains west of the boundary between Sections 9 and 10, Block XIII, Waitoa Survey District; being a distance of 1 mile 24 chains, more or less. As the said road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 59209, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red and marked A–B.

Declaring Portion of Hauturu Road, in the Otorohanga County, to be a County Road.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of road in the Auckland Land District, Otorohanga County, known as Hauturu Road, commencing at a point at the north-easternmost corner of Reserve No. 6, Block I, Orahiri Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a south-westerly direction along the eastern boundary of the said Reserve No. 6; thence proceeding along the western boundary of Section 2, Block I, Orahiri Survey District, and terminating at a point at the south-westernmost corner of the said Section 2, Block I, Orahiri Survey District, being a distance of 1 mile 35 chains, more or less. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 59212, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red and marked A–B.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Taikato Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 24th day of March, 1924.

Present:

THE HONOURABLE SIR FRANCIS BELL PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-seven of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

The Waitemata County Council

to be the Taikato Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Friday, the eleventh day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Waitemata County Council’s Office, Auckland, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.

TAIKATO DOMAIN.—NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.

ALLOTMENT 353, Waipareira Parish: Area, 3 acres 2 roods 8 perches.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke an Order in Council dated the twenty-first day of September, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, and published in the Gazette of the twenty-fourth day of that month, appointing a Domain Board to have control of the Tutaekara Domain, and doth hereby appoint

Robert Bruce Humphrey,
