AUSTRALIA.—SOUTH COAST.
Gulf of St. Vincent, Port Adelaide.—Wonga Shoal Light (U).—Intended Alteration in Period.
Mariners and others are hereby notified that the period of the flashing white light (U) on Wonga Shoal will be altered on or about 1st March, 1924.
Position.—Lat. 34° 50′ S., long. 138° 27′ E. on Chart No. 2389.
Details.—The period of the flashing white light will be altered from three to seven and a half seconds, thus: Flash 1 sec., eclipse 6½ sec.
NOTE.—In other respects the light will remain unaltered.

Position.—Booby Island, lat. 10° 36′ S., long. 141° 54′ E. (approx.).
Positions by distance and bearing from Booby Island Lighthouse.

(b.) 6·0 ,, 139° .. .. 5 ,, (9m1).
(c.) 2·7 ,, 151° .. .. 4½ ,, (8m2).

Details.—The above shoals do not exist, and are to be expunged from the charts accordingly.
On Chart No. 447 a depth of 5¼ fathoms (9m6) is to be inserted in lat. 10° 34′ 30″ S., long. 141° 52′ 30″ E.

JAVA, NORTH COAST.
Pemalang Point.—Extension of Bank.
Position.—Pemalang Point, lat. 6° 48′ S., long. 109° 29′ E. (approx.).
Caution.—The shore bank at this point is reported to be extending further to seaward as stated in the following note which is to be inserted on the chart : “Shoal water reported to extend one mile further north than charted (1923).”
BAY OF BENGAL.—GULF OF MARTABAN, RANGOON RIVER APPROACH.
China Bakir Light-vessel.—Alteration in Character of Light.
Position.—Lat. 16° 07′ N., long. 96° 11′ E. (approx.).
New Abridged Description.—Lt. F. 50 ft., vis. 12 m.
Alteration.—The character of the light of China Bakir light-vessel has been altered from flashing white to fixed white.
