A PROCLAMATION.
I N pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by the Discharged Soldiers Settle-
ment Act, 1915, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Go-
vernor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
revoke the Proclamation made on the twenty-first day of
March; one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one, and
published in the Gazette of the twenty-fourth day of March,
one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one, setting apart
settlement lands for selection by discharged soldiers, under
the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, in so far as it
relates to the land in the Schedule hereto.

A PROCLAMATION.
I N pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by the Discharged Soldiers Settle-
ment Act, 1915, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do
hereby revoke the Proclamation made on the seventh day
of June, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, and pub-
lished in the Gazette of the thirteenth day of June then instant,
setting apart Crown lands for selection by discharged soldiers,
under the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, in so
far as it relates to the area shown in the Schedule hereto.

TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT.
Lot 1 of Section 1, Block II, Rangi Survey District: Area,
4 acres 0 roods 37 perches.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued

I N pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by the Discharged Soldiers Settle-
ment Act, 1915, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do
hereby revoke the Proclamation made on the second day of
May, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one, and pub-
lished in the Gazette of the fifth day of May then instant,
setting apart Crown lands for selection by discharged soldiers,
under the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, in so far
as it relates to the area shown in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT.—WAIAPU COUNTY.
ALL that area situated in the Gisborne Land District, con-
taining by admeasurement 21 acres 1 rood, more or less,
being Lot 2 of Section 2, Block VI, Mangaoporo Survey
District, Waiapu County. Bounded on the south and south-
east by Lot 2 of Section 1, Block XI, Mangaoporo Survey
District, 3719·3 links; on the north-west by Lot 1 of Sec-
tion 2, Block VI, Mangaoporo Survey District, 3133·9 links.
As delineated on Crown plan No. 3139 in the Survey Office,
Gisborne.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 14th day of
January, 1924.

Section 127 of the Land Act, 1908.

A PROCLAMATION.
W HEREAS the Land Board of the Taranaki Land
District has recommended that the Crown tenant
of the land enumerated in the Schedule hereto should be
afforded relief, owing to exceptional circumstances over which
he has no control preventing the profitable occupation of
such land;
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power
and authority conferred upon me by section twenty-five of
the Reserves and other Lands Disposal and Public Bodies
Empowering Act, 1911, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
proclaim and declare the land enumerated in the Schedule
hereto to be subject to the provisions of section one hundred
and twenty-seven of the Land Act, 1908; and I do further
fix two years from the date mentioned in the said Schedule
as the period for which the said land shall be exempt from
payment of rent.

TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT.
SECTION 44, Block V, Cape Survey District (Aneti Block):
1st July, 1923.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
