I, JOHN MORRISON, Assistant Registrar of Companies, do hereby give notice that an affidavit, a copy of which is hereunder given, by two directors of THE NEW ZEALAND SMELTING COMPANY (LIMITED), has been lodged with me, and that, unless notice of objection be lodged with me within sixty days of this date, I shall proceed to declare the said company to be dissolved, in the manner provided by the Companies Act, 1908.

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of TOTARA SAWMILL LIMITED, held at Mark Sprot and Co.’s Buildings, Mackay Street, Greymouth, on Friday, the 7th day of March, 1924, at 9 o’clock in the forenoon, the following extraordinary resolution was passed, that is to say :—

“ That it has been proved to the satisfaction of the company that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily ; and that JOHN MARTIN BUNT, of Greymouth, Accountant, be and he is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up.”

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, and its amendments, the Tamaki West Road Board hereby resolves as follows :—

That, for the purpose of providing the interest, sinking fund, and other charges on a loan of £47,500, authorized
