A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a street the land in Aroha Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a street: 23·6 perches.
Portion of Lot 4 on D.P. 12296, Block IX, Aroha Survey District (Borough of Te Aroha), (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 22482.)
In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 56956, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured blue.

Proclaiming Native Land to have become Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section fourteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, it is provided, inter alia, that, on being satisfied that the purchase of any Native land has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the Native Land Act, 1909, the Governor-General may issue a Proclamation that such land has become Crown land:
And whereas the purchase of the Native land set out in the Schedule hereto has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the Native Land Act, 1909, and its amendments:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority so conferred upon me by section fourteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim that the Native land set out in the Schedule hereto has become Crown land.
SCHEDULE.
TAUMARUNUI Native Township Subdivision Y 6, being Lots 14 and 15, Section 1, Block XIVA: Area, 1 rood 36·1 perches.
Taumarunui Native Township Subdivision Y 7, being Lots 16 and 17, Section 1, Block XIVA: Area, 1 rood 36 perches.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 17th day of March, 1924.
Present:
THE HONOURABLE SIR FRANCIS BELL PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS, in pursuance of section one hundred and thirty-two of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, a petition was presented to the Governor-General praying that a certain area should be excluded from the Mangapapa Town District, and included in the Borough of Gisborne:
And whereas a Commission appointed under the said section held inquiries and recommended certain alterations of the said area:
And whereas it is deemed expedient to make the alteration of boundaries recommended by the said Commission:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare that as on and from the first day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four, the area described in the Schedule hereto shall be excluded from the Mangapapa Town District and included in the Borough of Gisborne.
SCHEDULE.
AREA INCLUDED IN THE BOROUGH OF GISBORNE.
ALL that area in the Gisborne Land District bounded by a line commencing at a point at the boundary-line between the Borough of Gisborne and the Mangapapa Town District at the most southern point of Lot 22, Block VI, Waipura Township, adjoining the Taruheru River, thence proceeding in a north-westerly direction along the bank of the said Taruheru River until it intersects the south-eastern boundary of Subdivision 4, Whataupoko No. 3; thence in a north-easterly direction by that boundary to and across Te Hapara Road to the south-east corner of Subdivision 35, Whataupoko No. 3, continuing in a north-easterly direction by the south eastern boundary of the aforesaid Subdivision 35, to and across to the centre of Ormond Road; thence in a north-westerly direction by the centre of the aforesaid Ormond Road to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Whataupoko No. 5; thence in a north-easterly direction to and across Ormond Road and by the south-eastern boundary of the aforesaid No. 5 to the centre of Howorth Street; thence in a south-easterly direction by the centre of Howorth Street to the centre of Valley Road; thence in a south-westerly direction by the centre of the aforesaid Valley Road to a point in line with the south-west boundary of Subdivision 43, Whataupoko No. 3; thence in a south-easterly direction across the aforesaid Valley Road and by the west boundary of the aforesaid Subdivision 43 till it intersects the western boundary-line of the Cook Hospital site; thence in a north-easterly and south-easterly direction generally by the boundaries of the aforesaid Cook Hospital site to the south-western boundary of Subdivision 46, Whataupoko No. 7; thence in a south-easterly direction generally by the south-western boundary of the aforesaid Subdivision 46, and by the south-western boundary of Lot 38, Whataupoko No. 4, to and across Mangapapa Road, and by the south-western boundary of Lot 45, Whataupoko No. 4, to the Gisborne Borough boundary; thence in a south-westerly direction by that boundary to the point of commencement.
