PIAKO COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION STRIKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Piako County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing instalments in respect of the principal, interest, and other charges on a loan of £12,200, authorized to be raised by the Piako County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of metalling roads and bitumen-sealing roads in the No. 1 Road Special-rating area, the said Piako County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of twopence and one farthing in the pound on the rateable value (upon the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the No. 1 Roads Loan Special-rating Area, comprising all that area in the Land District of Auckland being bounded as follows—
Commencing at the north-west corner of Section 41, Waitoa Estate, Block X, Waitoa Survey District; thence along a public road in an easterly direction following the northern boundaries of Section 41 and 40, Waitoa Estate, to the Ohine Stream; thence in a generally southerly direction following the said Ohine Stream and the Waitoa River to the railway-line, being the south-east boundary of Section 1, Waitoa Estate; thence following the railway-line in a south-westerly direction, being the south-east boundary of the said Section 1 and of Section 58, Waitoa Estate, to the southern corner of the said Section 58; thence in a north-westerly direction, following the south-west boundaries of Sections 58, 57, 56, 55, 54, 53, 52, 51, 50, 49, 48, Waitoa Estate, Sections 30, 29, 28, 27, 26, 24, 18, 17, 16, and 15, Balachraggan Settlement, and 41, Waitoa Estate, to the point of commencement: and that such rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and one-half years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.—STREETS IMPROVEMENT LOAN £6,000.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, and of all other powers (if any) thereunto enabling the Inglewood Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Inglewood Borough Council Streets Improvement Loan of £6,000, 1923, authorized to be raised by the said Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of streets-improvements and purchasing the necessary plant for carrying out such improvements, the said Council makes and levies a special rate of one and four-fifths of a penny (1 4/5d.) in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value)
