MANUKAU COUNTY COUNCIL.
Result of Poll.—Mangere East Public Hall Supplementary Loan of £1,250.
PURSUANT to section 12 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the rate-payers of the Mangere East Public Hall and Recreation-ground Loan Special-rating Area in the Mangere Riding of the County of Manukau, taken on the 26th day of January, 1924, on the proposal of the Manukau County Council to borrow the sum of £1,250 for the purpose of additional expenditure in the erection, completion, and furnishing of the proposed public hall in the above-mentioned special-rating area,—
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 101; the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 13. I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

Notice respecting Proposed Alteration of Boundaries, Borough of Paeroa.

IT is hereby notified that a petition has been presented to His Excellency the Governor-General under section one hundred and thirty-three of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, praying that the area described in the Schedule hereto being now part of the County of Ohinemuri, may be excluded from the said county and included in the Borough of Paeroa. All persons affected are hereby called upon to lodge any written objections to or petitions against the proposed alteration of boundaries which they desire to lodge, within one month from the first publication of this notice. Such objections or petitions are to be addressed and forwarded to the Minister of Internal Affairs, Wellington.
