is hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-ninth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and twenty four.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 2·2 perches. Portion of Section 17, Township of Mangonui, Block V, Mangonui Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 20140.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 53224, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured pink.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 18th day of December, 1923.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-eighth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for street purposes (Raroa Road), and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wellington, as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-first day of January, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 20·4 perches. Portion of Section 32, Karori R.D., D.P. 3880 (City of Wellington), Block VI, Port Nicholson Survey District. (S.O. 1816.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 58306, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.
