IN LIQUIDATION.
NOTICE is hereby given that a general meeting of the members of the above-named company will be held at the office of McKAY AND LITTLE, Room 10, Second Floor, Dominion Farmers’ Institute, Wellington, on Tuesday, the 22nd day of January, 1924, for the purpose of having an account laid before them showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, and hearing any explanation that may be given by the Liquidator.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and its amendments; and in the matter of TATTERSFIELD TEXTILES (LIMITED), in liquidation.
AT an extraordinary general meeting of the members of the above-named company, duly convened and held at the registered office of the said company, at Grey Lynn, on the twenty-second day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-three, and confirmed at a subsequent extraordinary general meeting, held at the same place, on the seventh day of December, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-three, the following resolution was duly passed :-
“ That it is expedient to effect an amalgamation of this company with TATTERSFIELD LIMITED, and that, with a view thereto, this company be wound up voluntarily, and that JAMES WALKER TATTERSFIELD be and he is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up.”

NOTICE is hereby given that the following special resolution of the above-named company was passed on the 26th day of November, 1923, and confirmed on the 13th day of December, 1923 :-
That the company be wound up voluntarily, and that JOHN GORDON DIACK DEMPSTER, of Dunedin, Accountant, and RODERICK MACKENZIE, of Dunedin, Retired Hotelkeeper, be and they are hereby appointed Liquidators for the purposes of such winding-up.

In the matter of the Public Works Act, 1908, and amendments thereof, and also of the taking under the said Act by the GISBORNE HARBOUR BOARD of certain land for harbour-works purposes.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Gisborne Harbour Board, a Board duly constituted by special Act of Parliament under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, and amendments thereof, intends to take by Proclamation the following land, namely :-
All those pieces or parcels of land, situate in the County of Cook, containing by admeasurement in the aggregate five acres (5 a. 0 r. 0 p.), more or less, being parts of the Awapuni 1r 1 Block, the Awapuni 1g 3, the Awapuni 1g 2B Block, and the Awapuni A 1B Block, Block VI, Turanganui Survey District, Cook County, Gisborne Land District.
The said lands not being situated within a road district, by direction of the Gisborne Harbour Board a plan of the land is deposited at the office of the Board, Read’s Quay, Gisborne, where the same may be inspected at all reasonable hours.
The work proposed to be executed upon the said land is for the purposes of a harbour, and the description of the land is as shown in the said plan.
All persons having any objection to the execution of such work or to the taking of such land are hereby required to send such objection in writing to the Gisborne Harbour Board on or before the 18th day of February, 1924.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between the undersigned THOMAS PHILCOX and HENRY BATES PHILCOX, carrying on business as Builders at Auckland, under the style or firm of “W. Philcox and Sons,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 1st day of October, 1923. The said business will in future be carried on by the said HENRY BATES PHILCOX under the style or firm of “W. Philcox and Sons.”

ONE TREE HILL ROAD BOARD.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the One Tree Hill Road Board hereby resolves as follows :-
That for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £18,000, authorized to be raised by the One Tree Hill Road Board under the above-mentioned Act, for—
(a.) The construction of drainage-reticulation in that portion of the One Tree Hill Road Board District as hereby defined—Commencing at the N.W. corner of recreation reserve (Allotment 54), bounded on the W. by the E. side of Manukau Road, on the N. by the present drainage-area, and on the E. and S. by the One Tree Hill Domain and Recreation Reserve (Allotment 54) respectively, back to the point of commencement. Education Reserve (part Allotment 12), bounded on the W. by the E. side of Manukau Road, on the N. and E. by the recreation reserve (Allotment 54) and the One Tree Hill Domain, and on the S. by the Borough of Onehunga. Commencing at the intersection of the S.E. side of the Grand Drive with Campbell Road, all that area bounded on the S.E. by Campbell Road on the N.E. by the boundary between Lots 63 and 64 on D.P. 15669 and the production thereof to the Grand Drive, and thence by the S.E. side of the Grand Drive back to the point of commencement.
(b.) The construction of outfall-sewer from the Royal Oak to the sea at the Manukau, and settling-tank,—
the said One Tree Hill Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one penny three-sixteenths in the pound upon the capital value of all rateable property in that portion of the One Tree Hill Road District as above defined; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
