New Zealand Inscribed Stock Act, 1917.—Closing of Registers.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Register of New Zealand
5½-per-Cent. Inscribed Stock, maturing 15th January,
1933, will be closed from the 1st January to the 15th January,
1924, inclusive, for the purpose of the issue of half-yearly
interest.

THE N.Z. NAUTICAL ALMANAC AND TIDE TABLES FOR 1924.
Marine Department,
Wellington, 11th December, 1923.
THE "New Zealand Nautical Almanac and Tide Tables,
for the Year 1924," has been published, and is on sale
at the Government Shipping Offices at Auckland, Wellington,
Lyttelton, and Dunedin, at the Customhouses at other ports,
and at some booksellers who stock it within the Dominion.
The publication contains all the usually required astro-
nomical data for navigation purposes, tide predictions for the
main ports of New Zealand, and tidal differences relating to
ports for which daily predictions have not been provided;
also daily tidal-stream predictions for French Pass and Tory
Channel; latest information (with harbour plans) concerning
recent changes in “aids” to navigation for the Dominion
harbours and coasts ; and supplementary information relating
to the “New Zealand Pilot” is given.
The publication also contains the latest and most im-
portant General Notice to Mariners issued by the Imperial
Board of Trade ; many tables useful to mariners and others ;
standard times of the world ; principal articles of the calendar,
holidays, &c.; instructions re drowning accidents, and the
use of the rocket apparatus ; flags of the International Code;
Morse code; courses and distances within New Zealand and
overseas; storm signals; phases of the moon; daily sunrise
and sunset tables for Auckland, Wellington, and Nelson ;
planets and stars visible during each month ; problems in
coastal navigation ; bar-harbour signals; chronometer-rating
time service ; Dominion lighthouses ; precise magnetic varia-
tion ; latest corrected charts ; and much information of use
to navigators and to the general public of the Dominion
collated to October, 1923.

only being available.

Incorporated Societies Act, 1908.—Declaration by the Assistant
Registrar dissolving a Society.
I, WILLIAM GREER FLETCHER, Assistant Registrar
of Incorporated Societies, do hereby declare that, as
it has been made to appear to me that The Auckland Hebrew
Aid Society (Incorporated) is no longer carrying on its
operations, the aforesaid society is hereby dissolved, in
pursuance of section 28 of the Incorporated Societies Act,
1908.

hood League (Incorporated) is no longer carrying on its
operations, the aforesaid society is hereby dissolved in pur-
suance of section 28 of the Incorporated Societies Act, 1908.
