of July, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, respectively
(hereinafter referred to as "the said regulations"), and doth
hereby declare that the amendment to the regulations hereby
made shall be read as part of the principal regulations, and
shall come into force on the date of the gazetting thereof.
REGULATION.
CLAUSE 7 of the said regulations is hereby amended by
revoking paragraph (3) thereof.

Schedule hereto to borrow the sums set out therein, and it is
expedient that such consent should issue:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby consent to the raising of the loans hereinafter
mentioned by the several local authorities set out in the
Schedule hereto, and it is hereby declared that this Order in
Council is made under the provisions in that behalf of the
Finance Act, 1919, and shall operate accordingly as a consent
of the Governor-General in Council to the raising of the said
loans.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority
vested in him by the valuation of Land Amendment
Act, 1920, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby appoint
Edward Averill, Esq.,
to be a member of the Assessment Court for the Hawke's
Bay Land District.

Changing the Purpose of a Reserve in Town of Shannon,
Wellington Land District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 26th day of
November, 1923.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
was reserved for a site for a public pound, being a
purpose within Class I of the Public Reserves and Domains
Act, 1908:
And whereas it is expedient that such land shall be appropriated for municipal purposes, being a purpose within the
said Class I:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and
in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him
by the fourth section of the Public Reserves and Domains
Act, 1908, doth hereby declare that the said land shall, from
and after the date hereof, be appropriated for municipal purposes under Class I of the Public Reserves and Domains Act,
1908.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all
other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His
Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent
to the Waiapu County Council stopping the portions of road
described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of road permitted to be
stopped: 10 acres 3 roods 38 perches and 4 acres 0 roods
14 perches.
Adjoining or passing through Taumata Patiti and Anaura
Blocks, situated in Block XVI, Tokomaru Survey District (Poverty Bay R.D.). (S.O. 971, brown.)
In the Gisborne Land District; as the same are more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 55574,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon
coloured green.
