Settlement Land set apart for Disposal by way of Sale or Lease to Discharged Soldiers, under Special Tenures, in the Taranaki Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section four of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the area of settlement land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby set apart and declared open for disposal by way of sale or lease to discharged soldiers, under special tenures, in the manner provided in the said Act.
SCHEDULE.
TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT.—SETTLEMENT LAND.
SECTION 4S, Tututawa Settlement: Area, 1 acre 3 roods 20 perches.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 22nd day of November, 1923.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the East Coast Main Trunk Railway (Otamarakau Section).
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land taken :—

Situated in Block IV, Waihi South Survey District. (S.O. 22966.)
In the Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 57876, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured as above-mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 23rd day of November, 1923.

Alteration of Boundaries, Christchurch Drainage District.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS, pursuant to section two of the Christchurch District Drainage Amendment Act, 1920 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), a proposal to add the area described in the Schedule hereto to the Christchurch Drainage District (hereinafter referred to as “the said district”), was duly carried at a poll of ratepayers taken in the said area on the nineteenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-three :
And whereas it is expedient to add the said area to the said district :
Now, therefore, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, and of all other powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, do hereby declare that on and from the first day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four, the area described in the Schedule hereto shall be added to and form part of the said district; and with the like powers and authorities do hereby also declare that the said area shall be added to the Heathcote Subdistrict of the said district.
SCHEDULE.
AREA ADDED TO CHRISTCHURCH DRAINAGE DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District bounded by a line commencing at a point on the right bank of the River Heathcote opposite to the eastern end of Tennyson Street, thence southerly along Burnbrae Street and St. Martin’s Road to its junction with Hills Road; thence easterly along Hills Road to the watercourse from Hills Road near Victoria Street; thence northerly along the said watercourse to the right bank of the River Heathcote; thence following the said bank of the river north-westerly, northerly, north-westerly, and south-westerly to the commencing-point.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 27th day of November, 1923.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and the Public Works Amendment Act, 1909, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1908.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 26th day of November, 1923.
