TAKE notice that the Partnership heretofore carried on between JOHN THOMAS LEDIARD and CHARLES HANSCOMB KINGSFORD at Queen Street and at Karangahape Road, Auckland, under the style of "Lediard and Kingsford," has been dissolved as from the first day of November, 1922; and that as from that date the said JOHN THOMAS LEDIARD shall carry on the business of the late Partnership at Karangahape Road alone under his own name, and the said CHARLES HANSCOMB KINGSFORD shall carry on the business of the late Partnership at Queen Street alone under his own name. All debts due to the late Partnership (as carried on upon both of the said business premises) up to the 1st day of November, 1922, shall be paid to the said CHARLES HANSCOMB KINGSFORD, and all liabilities of the late Partnership (as carried on upon both of the said business premises) up to the 1st day of November, 1922, shall be discharged by the said CHARLES HANSCOMB KINGSFORD.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Matakaoa County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain work--namely, the road to Pipituangi and Papatarata Blocks; and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken.
And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Clerk to the said Council, situate at Te Araroa, and is open for inspection (without fee) by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands, who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands, must state their objections in writing, and send the same, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk at the Council Chambers.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Registrar of Friendly Societies has, pursuant to section 70 of the Friendly Societies Act, 1909, by writing under his hand dated this seventeenth day of January, 1923, cancelled the registry of Court Johnston, No. 7631, of The Hawke's Bay District Branch of the Ancient Order of Foresters of New Zealand Friendly Society, No. 356 (Register No. 356 (1)/15), held at Takapau, on the ground that the said branch has ceased to exist.

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company held at the registered office, 12 Octagon, Dunedin, on the 18th day of December, 1922, the following extraordinary resolution was passed :
"That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this meeting that the company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and accordingly that the company be wound up accordingly." RESOLUTION.
THE following regulations were laid before the members of the Opunake Racing Club (Incorporated) at a meeting held on the 20th day of December, 1922, at Opunake, with a recommendation by the Chairman of such club, Mr. E. S. Forsyth, that the same be passed at once with a view to their approval by His Excellency the Governor-General, in pursuance of the Gaming Act, 1908, section 33.
Mr. E. S. Forsyth, the Chairman of such club and the meeting, moved, and Mr. F. Julian seconded, and it was resolved, that such regulations should be adopted, and that the Chairman and Secretary be authorized to sign the same in authentication thereof.
The following are the regulations referred to :-
OPUNAKE RACING CLUB (INCORPORATED).
REGULATIONS.
(Under the Gaming Act, 1908.)
In pursuance and exercise of the powers in that behalf contained in section 33 of the Gaming Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities it enabling in that behalf, the Opunake Racing Club, a racing club within the meaning of the said Act (hereinafter referred to as "the said club"), doth hereby revoke the regulations dated the 29th day of August, 1919, and in lieu thereof doth hereby make the following regulations controlling the admission of persons to that part of the Opunake Racing Club's property situated in the district of Egmont, and known as the Pihama Racecourse, while the said racecourse is used or occupied by the said club for race meetings.

These regulations shall come into force on the date of the same being published in the New Zealand Gazette.

In these regulations the words "bookmaker," "racing club," and "race meeting" shall have the meanings ascribed to those terms respectively by section 2 of the Gaming Act, 1908.

The following persons shall be and are hereby excluded from the racecourse above described while the same is used or occupied by the said club for a race meeting, namely,
